Shubha opens up to Anirudhha about their family’s past, highlighting their impoverished beginnings and his struggles to establish the Bose household. He expresses hope that his son will continue their legacy. Shubha suggests that removing Jhanak from their lives could lead to a happier marriage.
Later, Jhanak returns home and is immediately questioned about her sudden trip to the bank. She explains that she informed Anirudhha beforehand. Vipasha, however, questions her character and demands to know the reason for her visit. Jhanak asserts her right to privacy, sparking anger among the family members who believe she forfeited her personal life when she entered the household.
Jhanak’s vulnerability surfaces as she recalls her desire to leave the house, which Anirudhha thwarted. Despite Anirudhha’s numerous favors, including saving her life, Jhanak feels trapped by his insistence that she remain. She finds the daily insults unbearable.
Shristi, once a confidante, betrayed her, yet Anirudhha intervened to prevent her departure for Kashmir. Jhanak suspects that some in the house were aware of Shristi’s deceit but remained silent, taking advantage of her innocence.
On the other hand, Shubha considers Tejas the perfect match for Jhanak, and blames Jhanak for ruining their plans. Chhoton supports Jhanak, but she implores him not to get involved in the messy situation.
Jhanak confronts them, furious that they tried to ruin her personal life. She reveals she has ample evidence of their family’s conspiracy but refrained from reporting them out of gratitude. She warns them against trying to control her, asserting her independence. Aniruddha joins in, speaking to her with anger and insulting her for what he perceives as desperation. Jhanak, now incensed, discloses that Aniruddha had followed her to the shooting spot and demands to know why he’s so fixated on her personal life.
