Anupama tells Mr. Gulati that while it’s great he enjoys the tea from Spice and Chutney, it’s not guaranteed that Toshu will always serve it. She suggests that if he wants to meet Toshu, he should do so during his break time, and reminds him that the restaurant has been closed for a while, asking him to leave. Gulati feels insulted and retorts that Anupama is getting arrogant, warning her that the restaurant industry doesn’t forget and she could fall at any moment.
Yashdeep interjects, asserting his own place in the industry and offering to teach Gulati how to soar. Gulati tells him to calm down, stating that he’s addressing Anupama. Anupama confidently replies that those who fear falling lack the strength to rise again, and assures him that her actions are none of his concern.
Anuj puts Aadhya to sleep, troubled by how to share his concerns without upsetting Anu and Aadhya. When Anupama arrives home with decoration supplies, Anuj takes the bag from her. She asks if he gave Aadhya her medicine, and he confirms, explaining that the medication made her sleep.
Anupama is relieved, noting that Aadhya has been calm lately, but she worries something might trigger her anger. Anuj suggests they stop worrying and mentions he placed Aadhya’s gifts by her bedside. As Anupama selects the decorations, she expresses excitement about surprising Aadhya when she wakes up.
Toshu silently returns home, raising Kinjal’s suspicions. He says he’s going to sleep. Meanwhile, Anuj and Anupama are decorating the hall for Aadhya’s birthday, enjoying a song as they work.
Shruti plans to hint to Anupama not to attend the party, believing only Aadhya, AK, and herself deserve the joy. Anupama and Anuj finish decorating, hoping Aadhya will be happy. Anupama mentions she’ll wish Aadhya a happy birthday through a photo, as she has for the past five years. Anuj suggests she can wish her directly, but Anupama worries it might upset Aadhya, so they decide to stick with the photo.
As she prays for Aadhya, the lights come on, and Anuj takes it as a sign her prayers will be answered. They record a birthday message for Aadhya. With teary eyes, Anupama says she’ll go to sleep and bake a fresh cake in the morning for the restaurant. Anuj feels guilty, knowing Aadhya doesn’t want Anupama at the celebration.
Kavya, excited about her new job, notices Vanraj’s clothes on the bed and decides to check his cupboard. She finds the keys and tries to open it, but Vanraj walks in and answers a call about Titu. Kavya quickly puts the keys back and leaves.
Anupama wakes up early and places a gift in Aadhya’s room. “I want you to see your Papa’s face first thing when you wake up,” she whispers, kissing Aadhya on the cheek. “Happy 13th birthday, sweetheart. I wanted to see you before leaving, but I had to go.
I left a gift for you and will see you this evening.” She takes a selfie with Aadhya and later shows it to Anuj. Anuj silently struggles, wondering how to tell her that Aadhya still resents her and doesn’t want her at any of her celebrations or parties.
