The episode begins with Abhira seeing Armaan and saying, “I’m nobody to you now.” He replies, “Even so, I’ve come to you.” She insists he’s just an illusion. Armaan responds, “You wanted to separate and gave a false statement in court. Why are you crying now?” Abhira confesses, “It was a lie. I love you so much, Armaan. I couldn’t say it before.” He wipes her tears and encourages her to express her feelings. She laments, “Our story doesn’t have a happy ending. You will never choose me.” Armaan tells her, “This is a dream. Come out of it.” She pleads for just two more minutes and hugs him, but then her dream ends.
Manish, Suwarna, and Surekha arrive home. Manish remarks, “Whatever happened was wrong.” Suwarna argues, while Surekha points out, “Ruhi was happy after a long time; she found love.” Manish counters, “What about Abhira’s love? Only I can see her pain.” Surekha mentions, “Abhira left her husband.
” Manish retorts, “What else could she do? Armaan and Kaveri ji yelled at her and insulted her.” Suwarna insists, “Ruhi is happy. Can’t you be happy for her?” Manish responds, “Armaan isn’t her happiness, but her destruction. I can’t be happy.” Surekha agrees reluctantly but tells him to accept the reality of their upcoming marriage. Suwarna adds, “I don’t want any problems.” Manish leaves.
Ruhi approaches Armaan and says, “I want to talk about many things. Please sit.” Armaan replies, “We already spoke at the hotel.” Ruhi asserts, “I have the right to sit with you, to claim my rights. Otherwise, it’s always Abhira… Sorry. Let me ask again, are you happy with this engagement? How much?” Armaan gestures, “This much.” She demands, “A bit more.” He agrees, “Okay.
” She hugs him and smiles, though he doesn’t hug back. Ruhi reassures him, “It’s okay. I waited a long time for you. I can wait for your hug. We have a new responsibility: Charu’s marriage.” Armaan expresses surprise, “What? She is good at her work. I want Dadi to allow her to continue working.” Ruhi agrees, “I want that too, but Dadi and Sanjay won’t agree.”
She suggests they check out the guy’s photos and rate them. He reflects on Abhira’s words. Ruhi jokes, making him laugh. Abhira notices someone at the door and throws a hairpin, injuring the broker’s hand. He asks what she did, and she slaps him, scolding him to fix the door lock. He apologizes and leaves.
Ruhi excitedly tells Armaan about their engagement, expressing disbelief and saying she’ll post a picture on social media. Armaan, thinking of Abhira, is lost in thought as the song “Pyar Hai Ya Saza” plays. Abhira sees Ruhi’s post online. Armaan reassures himself that he recommended her for the job and should focus on their future. Ruhi smiles at the congratulatory messages, relishing the sound of “Mrs. Armaan Poddar.” As Armaan looks for his fallen ring, Abhira starts crying.
In the morning, Suwarna gives Manish the aarti. Surekha signals Suwarna to speak up. Manish asks her what she wants to say. Suwarna explains they need to start preparations for Ruhi and Armaan’s wedding. Manish calls the CA, Parekh, to transfer funds to Suwarna’s account. Parekh informs him that they are already in debt and cannot get funds for the wedding. Manish, worried, says Parekh will call back later. Suwarna and Surekha leave, and Manish contemplates how to arrange the money for the marriage.
Abhira informs Akshu that all the money is gone. She receives a call from Kipling Uncle inquiring about the resort work. He reports a landslide that destroyed the kitchen, requiring 50,000 rupees for repairs. Abhira is concerned. Ruhi insists they shouldn’t hire a wedding planner to save money.
Dadi argues that 20-25 lakhs is a small amount for her. Ruhi insists she can manage the wedding tasks herself, but Vidya reminds her to relax as the bride. Dadi suggests Ruhi join them in meeting the wedding planners. Ruhi receives a call and urgently leaves to meet her friend Shefali, who had an accident.
Meanwhile, Abhira, exhausted, prepares for her interview. She washes her face and overhears Sanjay instructing someone to reject her.
