Toshu’s phone interrupts the moment, and he swiftly ends the call with an apologetic tone. Anupama’s memory flashes back to Toshu serving the dish, igniting her confrontation. She questions him sharply about his inconsistency in work ethic, especially highlighting his eagerness to serve the food despite her explicit instructions to wait. As Yashdeep and Beeji approach, oblivious to the brewing tension, they express optimism about their anticipated good ratings.
Toshu, feeling the weight of accusation, internally muses about the possibility of being blamed for a concocted cockroach incident, expressing his disgust at the mere thought. He defends his actions, citing the impossibility of reheating the biryani and his adherence to serving it promptly. Yashdeep’s attempt to share positive news is derailed by Anupama’s accusatory gaze.
Meanwhile, Aadhya urges Shruti to join her in fetching their father, but Shruti, wary of repeating past mistakes, advises against any actions that might lead to further apologies. Aadhya, fueled by her recent grievances against Anupama Joshi, resolutely vows to hold her accountable.
Yashdeep’s shock registers visibly as Anupama implicates foul play in the culinary mishap, while Beeji’s joyous anticipation for favorable ratings contrasts sharply with the tense atmosphere. Yashdeep, initially intending to deliver uplifting news, is forced to address the contentious issue at hand.
Anupama maintains her stance on having diligently prepared the food, attributing the contamination to deliberate sabotage. Toshu, defensive and aggrieved, deflects blame back to Anupama, pointing out her brief absence during which the incident presumably occurred.
Yashdeep, disappointed by the turn of events, chastises Anupama for her lapse in professionalism, emphasizing the repercussions on their reputation and business. Anuj’s attempt to intervene is quashed by Yashdeep, who asserts the gravity of the situation between business partners.
Babu ji calls Anupama, worried. Vanraj comes in and asks, “You’re still awake?” Babu ji replies, “Anupama isn’t picking up the call.” Vanraj says, “She must be enjoying the praise and getting her photos clicked. You should go to sleep.” Babu ji says, “I’m restless. She hasn’t messaged or called. Even Beeji, Yashdeep, and Anuj aren’t answering. That’s why I’m worried.”
Outside, Anuj offers Anupama water and asks, “What’s happening to you?” She breathes heavily and blames herself, saying, “How could this happen? I’ve ruined everything.” He hugs her, trying to comfort her, saying, “Why are you ruining your health? Don’t cry; nothing will get better if you cry.
” Vanraj tells Babu ji to sleep and promises to message Anupama. He messages someone, and a goon calls him back. Vanraj asks for the address and thinks to himself, “Whatever I want will happen now,” smirking.
Anuj urges Anupama to drink water and look at him, saying, “You’re not wrong; don’t feel guilty. Ms. Smith said a lot, but she won’t post anything without verifying the facts. Don’t cry; nothing will be solved by crying.” Anupama replies, “Yashdeep sir has done so much for me, gave me work, trusted me, and I repaid them with disrespect and insult. They must be feeling bad.”
Aadhya asks Shruti to come with her, saying she will go to Anupama Joshi to get a birthday present and free her pops. Anuj tells Aadhya not to cry, assuring her that everything will return to normal. Anupama urges Anuj to go, mentioning that Choti must be looking for him. Aadhya then arrives, saying she was searching everywhere for her pops and found him there. Anupama apologizes and wishes her a happy birthday.
Aadhya, upset, says, “You ruined my birthday with decorations I don’t like, forcing Shruti to organize it at a hotel. I thought if I tore your diary, you’d go back to India and lose the competition.” Anuj tells her to stop, but Aadhya continues, “I asked you to keep her away from me today. You ruined my birthday, so I’m glad your special day is ruined too.” Anuj shouts her name, but Anupama stops him.
Anuj tries to reason with Aadhya, explaining that Anupama decorated the house to make her birthday special. He says, “Aadhya, you hate her for what happened five years ago, but why bring it up now? Your happiness shouldn’t come at the expense of others.
Anupama needs me now, and I’m here to support her. We wanted to make your birthday better, but unforeseen problems arose.” He adds that Aadhya can go with Shruti, but he will stay until the issue is resolved.
Aadhya insists, “I won’t go without you. I’ll take you with me.” Anupama intervenes, telling them to stop fighting because of her. “I can’t bear to see you both sad. I’m sorry, Aadhya, for everything,” she says. She then asks Anuj to take Aadhya home. Aadhya holds Anuj’s hand.
