Savi expresses surprise to Patil, saying she didn’t realize he was an orphan and had been alone in life, yet had become such a respected and honest police officer, which she admires. Patil acknowledges Mrs. Bothelo’s role in his life, thanking her and offering her sweets. He then insists that Savi also have sweets from his hands as a gesture of gratitude for helping his people, which she accepts.
Ishaan, feeling jealous, questions where Savi’s attention is. He claims he didn’t know she was there. Reeva, noticing his jealousy, tells him he now knows and should leave immediately. Ishaan insists on staying to spend time with the children, but Reeva suggests he come another day.
Patil advises Ishaan to listen to Reeva and also offers him sweets, symbolizing the exit of one person from his life and the entrance of another. Ishaan pushes Patil’s hand away, causing Reeva to angrily question his actions.
Ishaan confronts Patil, asking him what he thinks of himself. Patil, in turn, warns Ishaan about the consequences of raising a hand against a police officer. However, Ishaan reminds him that this is not a police station and he is not an officer here.
He accuses Patil of trying to impress Savi and enter her life by feigning sympathy. Patil defends himself, asking why it bothers Ishaan if he is showing sympathy towards Savi. Savi interrupts, questioning Ishaan’s behavior and asking what his problem is.
Ishaan redirects the question, asking Savi why she is there. She explains she was bringing happiness to the children, accusing Ishaan of creating drama and getting angry. Ishaan retorts, questioning why she sought Patil’s help if she prides herself on being self-reliant and refused Chinmay’s assistance. Savi announces their divorce proceedings the next day, implying that their chapter together is ending, and leaves with Harini.
Smriti approaches Mrs. Bothelo, questioning why Patil claimed to have grown up there when they have only known him for a month. Mrs. Bothelo is also confused and promises to ask him. Patil overhears and asserts that he is indeed a local, born and raised there. He warns Mrs. Bothelo that if anyone threatens her or Smriti, he, being her “policeman son,” will protect them, emphasizing that she should inform everyone that he is a local and she is like his mother.
Back at home, Reeva inquires why Ishaan was upset with Bhavar Patil. He explains that it’s because Patil misbehaved with Yashwant Rao Bhosale. Reeva questions if that’s the real issue or if it’s about Savi. Ishaan elaborates that he became angry due to Savi’s unwavering support for Patil, feeling she was too sympathetic towards him.
He senses something suspicious about Patil’s intentions. Reeva advises him to let go of thoughts about Savi, hugs him, and expresses her love. This triggers a memory for Ishaan, recalling Savi saying “I love you,” making him nervously walk away.
Meanwhile, Patil, at his home, starts drinking and romantically admires a photo cutout of Savi. He muses that she can only share a drink with him as true love is in the eyes, interpreting Ishaan’s exit from Savi’s life as his own entry, believing fate is orchestrating their union by separating Savi and Ishaan.
The next morning, Surekha happily informs Ishaan that Savi will be out of his life forever as their divorce will be finalized that day, offering him sweet curd as a gesture of good luck. Ishaan feels melancholic. Savi, too, feels sad, but Harini consoles her. As the song “Naina Lageya Baarishaan” plays in the background, Surekha feeds sweet curd to everyone, including Reeva, wishing them the best.
Later, Shukla encounters Savi on the road, questioning her destination, to which she responds that she’s on her way to finalize her divorce. In turn, she asks where he’s coming from, and he explains he walked a long way to save money. Concerned for Shukla, Savi rushes to him as he collapses.
Patil arrives, sees the situation, and realizes Savi won’t make it to court. He quickly arranges for help, ensuring Shukla receives medical attention, while Savi, unable to find an auto, reluctantly accepts Patil’s offer for a ride.
In court, the judge asks Savi and Ishaan why they seek divorce. Savi explains that though their situation has improved, they are not compatible. Ishaan adds that living with Savi, who is self-centered and disregards others’ feelings, has been challenging.
Their argument escalates, prompting the judge to remind them of their positive memories. While Ishaan acknowledges these memories, Savi, overwhelmed by bitter experiences, denies their existence. The judge grants them a divorce in a month.
After leaving the courtroom, they walk away in opposite directions, with the show’s title track playing in the background. Reeva congratulates Ishaan on submitting his divorce papers. Meanwhile, Savi cries, and Harini comforts her.
Surekha announces a temple visit and an engagement for Ishaan and Reeva, though Savi decides to visit the Chandika temple the following day. Despite Ishaan’s promise to join them later, he remains haunted by Savi’s words in court. His attempt to reach the temple is thwarted by his car breaking down, leading him to consider taking a bus instead.
