The episode begins with Sayali saying, “I can’t walk anymore, my legs are hurting.” Sachin asks her to wait and returns with a donkey. She looks at it and asks, “What’s this?” He replies, “It’s a donkey. Sit on it, and we’ll reach the bus stop.” She retorts, “Are you mad? Will I sit on this donkey?” He insists, “We have no time. Think about it: do you want to walk or sit on the donkey?” Reluctantly, she sits on the donkey.
Sachin takes the bag and jokes, “Is the ride comfortable? Do you want a cushion or a cold drink?” A man nearby offers Sachin some prasad, and Sachin takes it, asking the man about his wedding plans. The man replies, “In one month.” Sachin advises him to keep the donkey handy.
A boy approaches and asks for a selfie. Sayali covers her face. She then asks, “How far is the bus stop?” Sachin, seeing the bus stop, lies, “Not far.” He then says, “I want to take your picture,” and snaps a photo, joking about framing it. When Sayali notices the bus stop, she accuses him of lying. He responds, “I was talking about a different bus stop.” She says, “I understand everything.” Sachin thanks the man and tells him to stay strong for his upcoming marriage.
The man leaves, and Sachin asks Sayali to wait as he goes off for a moment. Sayali comments that the bus will arrive soon, but Sachin returns, saying, “Work is done.” She asks, “What work?” He dismisses it, “Forget it. Come, the bus has arrived.”
Roshni and Vidya visit Roshni’s mum. Her mum calls her Kalyani, to which Roshni responds, “She’s calling me.” Vidya admits, “I forgot your real name.” Roshni announces, “I’ve decided to get married. I like a guy, and he likes me too.” Her mum questions, “Do they know you’re already married and have a child?” Roshni admits they don’t. Her mum insists, “You have to tell them.
” Roshni blames her mum for the situation, “You got me married to an old man who died within two years.” They argue until Vidya intervenes. Roshni’s mum warns that the truth might come out. Roshni dismisses the worry, “Who will tell them?” Vidya agrees with her. Roshni says, “I’ll apologize if they find out later.” Her mum reluctantly agrees. Roshni then hands her some money, asking her to buy clothes and shoes for Krish, and leaves with Vidya.
On the bus, Sachin and Sayali are on their way. Sayali falls asleep with her head resting against the bus window. Sachin gently applies ointment to her foot sores. She wakes up, noticing what he’s doing. He quickly turns away, and she asks, “What’s this?” Sachin changes the topic, “Do you want water?” She declines. Inwardly, she realizes, “He went to buy this cream for me. Why do I always think wrong about him?” She smiles softly.
Sachin gives Sayali the cream. He sees a lady and greets her, helping her board the bus and chatting with her. Sachin then offers Sayali a guava, asking how it tastes. Sayali says, “It’s tasty.” Sachin jokes about her diet. The lady asks, “Who is she?” Sachin explains, “She’s new in the village. I thought Aaji told you.” The lady nods, “Oh, you got married! So, she’s your wife.
Why are you shy to say it?” She compliments their pairing and asks, “What’s your name?” Sayali introduces herself. The lady blesses them and says, “Sachin is a nice guy with a golden heart. He will take good care of you.” Sayali replies, “He’s just shy to show his golden heart.”
Meanwhile, Renu and Shakku are talking. Renu says, “I can get Tejas married now.” Shakku informs, “Roshni called; she wants to talk to you.” Roshni arrives and announces, “I can’t marry for the next two years.” Renu asks, “Why?” Roshni explains her situation. Renu suggests, “There must be another way to open a parlor. Delaying marriage for two years isn’t right.
” Roshni insists, “I have no other way. I won’t take money from Dad, and no one else will give me such a big amount. Explain this to Tejas.” Renu stops her and says, “You and Tejas want to marry. Don’t decide in a rush. We will arrange the money. Don’t postpone the marriage.” Roshni smiles and fools her. Renu hugs her.
Back on the bus, Sachin gives his seat to a lady and stands. When the lady gets down at the stop, Sayali asks him to sit. He says, “I’m fine here.” She insists, “The village is far, sit.” Roshni’s mum and Krish board the bus. Sachin offers her a seat, and Krish thanks Sayali, then argues with Sachin. Roshni’s mum scolds Krish for being disrespectful. Sayali chats with Roshni’s mum, who says she’s going to pray to Kuldevi. Sayali asks Krish his name. He replies, “Krish.
” She asks about his parents, and he says, “I don’t have my parents, just Aaji and Kaku.” Roshni’s mum explains, “My daughter visits him less often.” Krish reiterates, “I don’t have my parents.” Sayali remarks, “He might be living a sad life.
” Roshni’s mum says, “No, his Kaku takes good care of him.” Sachin adds, “No one can take parents’ place. Aaji raised me. I have my mum, but she’s like she doesn’t exist.” Roshni’s mum tells Krish to sit down, but he refuses. Sayali offers, “Sit in my lap.” He says, “He’s staring at you.” Roshni’s mum explains, “He’s aunty’s husband.” She reassures Sachin not to feel bad. He says, “It’s fine.”
Sayali asks Sachin to give Krish a fruit. Sachin sits on another seat. Renu and Shakku visit a temple. Renu says, “Tejas and Roshni should marry before Sachin returns from the village.” Shakku replies, “We need to arrange money. I know a finance company, but we have to mortgage some property or something.” Renu asks, “What will we mortgage?” Shakku suggests, “You can mortgage the house papers and get the money.” Renu hesitates, “No, it’s too risky.
The house is in Paresh’s and my name. He’ll never agree to this.” Shakku assures her, “It’s just for the loan. You can get the papers back after repaying it.” Renu acknowledges, “It’s risky.” Shakku adds, “Roshni will earn well with a parlor, and Tejas will also get a job.” Renu agrees, “We have no other option. Roshni is rich; it’s good.”
On the bus, Sachin tells Sayali to keep her hand inside the window to avoid injury. He asks, “Do you want to eat?” She says, “No.” Sayali asks Roshni’s mum about herself. Roshni’s mum shares that Roshni is planning a love marriage. She asks Sayali, “Is yours a love marriage?” Sayali replies, “No, our families arranged it.” Roshni’s mum observes, “He is taking care of you with love.
” Sayali smiles, “Yes, he takes care of me.” Roshni’s mum hopes, “I wish my son-in-law keeps my daughter happy. I want to buy a saree for her.” Sayali offers to help and asks, “Do you have your daughter’s picture?” Roshni’s mum asks Krish for the phone to show the picture, but it’s not working. Krish offers, “Give it to me, I’ll find the picture.” He shows the picture and says, “She’s beautiful.”
