The episode begins with Jhanak bringing food to Anirudh. He says, “I wanted to have this food. I know you worked hard to make this. I’m sorry.” She replies, “Don’t say sorry, have it.” He insists, “I asked for two plates.” She responds, “It can’t happen.” He concedes, “Fine, I won’t have it alone.” She assures him, “I already had it.” He calls her bluff, “Lie.
” She promises, “I’ll have it later.” He insists, “You didn’t eat, I know. I’ll feed you, sit here.” He feeds her, saying, “You didn’t bring your plate, so you have to eat from the same plate.” She urges him to eat. He tastes the food and exclaims, “Wow, I’ll never forget this taste.” She asks, “Is it tasty? Mum taught me to make it.
” He replies, “You have to eat it. I can’t take care of you from tomorrow. I’ve insulted you a lot. I misbehaved with you. I’m sorry.” She dismisses it, “Let it be.” He inquires, “Did you do the packing?” She admits, “I have to do it.” He advises, “Take the things that I gave you.” She assures, “I’m just taking that.”
He asks, “Won’t you come back?” She replies, “If I’m safe there, then I don’t want to come here.” He reflects, “I had big dreams for you. I wanted you to become famous.” She says, “I want to live in peace.” He questions, “Will you get it there?” She confirms, “Yes, it’s my city.” He concedes, “Fine, I won’t trouble you. If you fall into trouble then…” She finishes, “I’ll inform you.” He says, “Just one call is enough.” She reassures, “Don’t worry. All the best for your new life.
” He admits, “I don’t understand.” She questions, “Why are you saying that?” He confesses, “I don’t know.” She cautions, “Don’t say anything that you can’t take back.” He relents, “Fine, I didn’t say anything. I’ll keep it to myself. Our paths will part.
” She states, “Our paths weren’t one. We were forced to marry.” She urges him to eat. He wishes her happiness, “Stay happy.” She promises, “I will. Will you stay happy?” He responds, “I have to.” She probes, “Why? You love Arshi a lot. You’re marrying her. Why are you saying this?” He replies, “Yes, I have no reason to be sad.” She leaves, contemplating why he keeps repeating the same thing.
He thinks, “I had a lot to say, but couldn’t.” She wishes him happiness, deciding, “I’ll never come back. If you come to Srinagar… but that’s not needed.” He reflects, “You will leave tomorrow and there will be emptiness in my life. Just stay happy.” He reminisces about their first meeting and their journey together.
Inspector calls Anirudh. Bipasha overhears him arranging for police to meet Tejas at the train station for Jhanak’s safety. She suspects Anirudh’s sympathy for Jhanak and decides to inform Shrishti, determined to thwart Jhanak’s plans. Bipasha leaves unnoticed, calls Shrishti, and updates her. Shrishti insists on being informed of any developments.
Anirudh feels conflicted, worrying about Jhanak’s future and reflecting on his upcoming marriage to Arshi. He reassures himself that Jhanak will be safe with his cousin, a police officer, but remains upset.
A knock at the door interrupts him. Assuming it’s not Jhanak, he’s surprised to find her there. Jhanak explains her urgent visit, apologizes for the late hour, and gives him a gift for Arshi and him. Anirudh questions her spending, but she dismisses his concerns, emphasizing the value of his support. She reveals she can’t stay to witness his wedding.
Anirudh, emotional, accuses her of being heartless. She insists she hasn’t done anything wrong. She mentions her early departure and offers to have Choton drive her, but Anirudh insists on taking her himself, despite family disapproval, to bid her farewell.
Jhanak urges him to check the gift, identical rings for him and Arshi. Anirudh rejects the ring, telling her to give it to her future husband, upsetting Jhanak. She expresses her frustration, insisting the ring was meant for him. She accuses him of re-gifting but ultimately leaves, disheartened.
