Meanwhile, Jaya contacts her mother, Aai, inquiring about Vaiju’s well-being and whether the alliance has been finalized. Aai spots Vaiju looking dejected. Kaveri remarks on Vaiju’s frequent rejections, suggesting Jaya focus on finding a suitable match for herself.
Despite Vaiju’s somber demeanor, she converses with Jaya, projecting a facade of contentment. Encouraging words from Jaya lift Vaiju’s spirits momentarily. Later, Jaya receives a friend request from Ranvijay and reminisces about him. They engage in a conversation online.
Meanwhile, a pandit visits Durga, also known as Aai, with a marriage proposal. Aai, unaware of Vaiju and Kaveri’s absence, entertains the pandit, providing details about her daughters.
To her surprise, the proposal is for Vaiju, described as an educated young man from a prosperous urban family. Aai, contemplating the match, believes it’s more suitable for Jaya. Concealing the photograph of the prospective groom, Aai strategizes to redirect the proposal towards Jaya.
However, as Vaiju returns home, Jaikant is reminded of the altercation and adamantly refuses to apologize.
She urges him to ponder calmly before she departs. Meanwhile, Aai, Vaiju, and Kaveri engage in conversation. Vaiju expresses the universal desire for a family of one’s own. Later, Jaikant arrives at Vaiju’s residence to offer his apologies.
Vasundara intervenes, dialing Vaiju to convey her forgiveness and to dissuade any further escalation. However, Vaiju questions Vasundara’s principles, highlighting the inappropriate nature of Jaikant’s visit and reaffirming her family’s unwavering stance on their land.
Jaikant departs, leaving Vasundara to reflect on her actions. Consequently, she summons Ranvijay, concerned about Vaiju. Ranvijay reassures her, prioritizing her happiness above all else. Vaiju receives a sum of money but finds it insufficient. Kaveri reveals their financial strain due to Aai’s recent illness.
Vaiju contemplates mortgaging her bangles, a cherished gift from Aai, to alleviate their financial burdens temporarily. Meanwhile, she admires a photograph of Ranvijay, eliciting playful teasing from her friend about a potential romantic interest. Vaiju, however, remains unsure of Ranvijay’s identity but eagerly anticipates their meeting. Unbeknownst to her, Ranvijay harbors malicious intentions towards her.
