Meanwhile, Ranvijay is troubled, recalling Vasundara’s concerns. As Vaiju contemplates purchasing seeds, Ranvijay converses with Rao Sahab, seeking information about the mysterious girl. Determined, he vows to confront her for causing his mother distress, but Rao Sahab reassures him, promising to handle the situation.
Vaiju proceeds to pawn her bangles for funds, but the compassionate vendor refuses, trusting her since childhood. He allows her to take the fertilizers with a promise to pay later, suggesting she sell wood logs at the temple to earn money during a mass marriage event.
Back with Ranvijay, his frustration leads to an unintended injury for Jaya, who unexpectedly visits him. Profusely apologetic, he tends to her wound, his anger directed towards the girl who hurt his mother.

Revealing Santosh’s marital history with her elder sister Kaveri, Vaiju paints a damning picture of his character, alleging his past as a jobless, abusive drunkard who exploited Kaveri for money.
