The episode commences with Anirudh deceiving the entire family. Arshi questions him, “Shall I reach out to your boss?” He reluctantly nods, “Yes, give it a try. We’ve invited everyone.” Suspicions arise in Arshi’s mind, prompting her to contemplate, “Is he being truthful? I need to contact his boss to clarify everything.
” Meanwhile, Jhanak observes her surroundings with a glimmer of nostalgia. She reflects, “I’m returning home after a prolonged absence. My mother’s comforting presence awaits, along with familiar faces of neighbors. Kolkata seems like a distant memory now.” Thoughts of Anirudh bring tears to her eyes as she contemplates, “Perhaps the police will rescue me from Tejas.”
Anirudh grapples with his dilemma, confessing, “I have only one recourse—I’ll resign from my job.” Shubh advises him, “It’s a good job, try convincing your boss.” Arshi offers, “I can attempt to reason with him.” Anirudh feigns distress, declaring, “I’ve decided, I’ll resign. This is unacceptable.” Jhanak’s journey takes an unexpected turn as she voices her concern, “My village lies in that direction.
” But her captor dismisses her protests, cautioning, “Don’t raise your voice. We’re not heading to your village; it’s too risky.” Perplexed, she inquires, “Where are you taking me?” He reassures her, “To a safe house.” Undeterred, she persists, “But that’s not along this route. Drop me home; my neighbors will look after me.” Yet, he assures her safety, asserting, “This area is the safest. You’ll be fine.”
Elsewhere, news of Jhanak’s abduction spreads, prompting Inspector’s plan to confront Tejas. Inside the mysterious house, Jhanak is taken aback as Tejas welcomes her with a smile, revealing, “Welcome to Kashmir.”
Back at home, Anirudh wrestles with his decision, seeking familial support. Shubh encourages, “Don’t despair; we’ll figure this out together.” Arshi frets, “What will I tell mom?” Anirudh laments, “She’ll misunderstand me again. I don’t want any rift between us. I’ll resign today.
” Tanuja raises practical concerns, “Will you find another job? What about societal judgment?” Arshi resolves, “I’ll speak to Sandeep. If he agrees, great; otherwise, it’s another sacrifice for this relationship. Perhaps, it’s my destiny.” Meanwhile, Jhanak confronts her captors, accusing, “You… No, I refuse to stay here. I’ve been coerced into this. Why? It means you all deceived me.”
He dismisses his staff and delivers a stern ultimatum: “I’m done chasing after you. Anirudh is marrying Arshi, and I’m through with this game. You were with him before, and now he’s moving on. Jhanak pleads for freedom, but he remains unmoved. Their argument escalates as he questions her future with Anirudh, insinuating parallels with her mother’s life. Threats loom as he hints at harm to Anirudh and manipulates Jhanak’s emotions.
Meanwhile, the police search for Jhanak, suspecting Tejas’ involvement. Despite her pleas, Tejas persists with his coercive tactics, demanding her hand in marriage in exchange for Anirudh’s safety. Despite her refusal, he remains persistent, resorting to emotional blackmail and threats against her loved ones.
As the tension reaches its peak, Jhanak‘s desperation grows. Tejas sets a deadline, but she remains steadfast in her refusal, fearing for Anirudh’s life. With little choice left, she agrees to his terms, hoping to protect Anirudh at any cost. But as she prepares to leave, the gravity of Tejas’ intentions becomes chillingly clear, leaving Jhanak in a state of anguish and uncertainty.”
