Devika inquires of Anupama why she kept Gulati a secret. Anupama dismisses him as unworthy of discussion. Devika, pointing out the contrasting attitudes of Vanraj and Anuj towards her, suggests she might have feelings for Anuj.
Meanwhile, Vanraj frantically searches for his phone, suspecting Ansh, who denies seeing it. Kavya observes Vanraj’s possessiveness over his phone. Mahi locates it, handing it to Vanraj, who leaves in a hurry.
Devika probes Anupama’s reaction to Anuj’s engagement news, expressing disbelief at his apparent indifference. She accuses him of callousness, contrasting it with his previous care for Anupama and her daughter.
Anupama defends Anuj’s actions, explaining his responsibility to move on. Devika persists, insinuating Anupama’s feelings for Anuj. Anuj, overhearing Anupama’s confession, is elated.
Shruti, finding Anuj’s belongings, is unsettled by his poetry and the gajra garland, suspecting deception. Devika presses Anupama to admit her feelings for Anuj, swearing on Samar’s name. Anupama tearfully confesses her enduring love for Anuj, unaware of his nearby presence.
Vanraj, confronting the impending marriage, vows to halt it, unaware of Mahi’s presence. He hastily concocts a cover story, relieved that his intentions remained unheard.
Anupama confesses to Anuj that she still loves him deeply and feels pain when he gets even a scratch. Anuj smiles. Anupama then reveals another truth: Anuj has moved on with Shruti. She admits it hurt her to see him with Aadhya and Shruti, but acknowledges that they are now a happy family. She says, “I couldn’t keep him happy, but Shruti will.” Anuj listens quietly.
Meanwhile, Titu prays to Kanha ji for courage to reveal the truth, fearing Dimpy’s reaction. Dimpy approaches, kisses him on the cheek, and praises his cooking. He teases her about being romantic, and she hints at telling him about Samar but stops short.
Anupama reflects on how she never tried to win Anuj back when he left for Maya and Choti, and even now as he plans to marry Shruti for Choti’s sake. She feels betrayed but refuses to betray others.
She recalls how Shruti has been with Anuj for four years, even taking a bullet meant for her, and resolves not to disrupt their marriage. She hugs Devika and cries, as Anuj overhears and becomes angry. Titu assures Dimpy he understands Samar was important to her.
Dimpy reminisces about Samar’s dreams for Ansh. Titu promises they will fulfill those dreams and begins to share something about his past but is interrupted by a call about his friend’s accident. He leaves, promising to return before the sangeet.
Anupama tells Devika she doesn’t expect to hear love from Anuj anymore but wishes to hear it from Choti. Anuj overhears and is moved to tears.
Dimpy tends to her sprained leg as Kinjal cries, expressing her desire to be strong like her mother and ignore Toshu’s taunts. She laments their strained relationship and asserts her need to pursue her career and future, determined to stand up for herself like her mother did.
Anuj, sitting on the road, reflects on Anupama and their relationship. He says, “I don’t know what will happen, but I love you, Anu,” and cries.
