The episode begins with Vaiju expressing her disappointment over not receiving a reply from Ranvijay. Jaya comforts her, comparing love to sowing seeds that need time to grow, emphasizing the importance of faith and hope.
Vaiju questions if Jaya learned these insights from her past love, to which Jaya clarifies that her heartbreak wasn’t related to Ranvijay. Vasundara intervenes, acknowledging Jaya’s past pain and affirming Vaiju’s suitability for her.
Vaiju receives a call from Ranvijay, who expresses a lack of connection with her. Vasundara encourages him to give Vaiju another chance, promising to respect his decision if he still feels disconnected after meeting her again. Ranvijay agrees, prompting Vaiju to stay patient.
The next morning, Jaya and Vaiju visit a temple. Ranvijay calls Vaiju to arrange a meeting, and she informs him of her location. As she waits, Vaiju shares the news with Jaya, who advises her to handle the meeting alone. Nervous, Vaiju prays for strength.
Ranvijay arrives at the temple, and Jaya insists that Vaiju meets him alone. While Vaiju waits, she witnesses a married couple’s interaction and smiles. However, her moment of peace is interrupted when Santosh, a passerby, starts insulting her. Vaiju stands her ground and rebukes him, leading Kaveri to intervene and escort Vaiju away.
Meanwhile, Ranvijay searches for Vaiju in the temple crowd, unaware of the commotion. Santosh continues his derogatory remarks, suggesting that Ranvijay is insincere and marrying to fulfill family expectations. Vaiju, outraged, confronts Santosh, defending Ranvijay’s character. She slaps Santosh, declaring her faith in Ranvijay, as he watches silently from a distance.
Kaveri spots Ranvijay and urges everyone to let him be, asking them to leave him alone. She points him out to Vaiju, who witnesses Ranvijay walking away barefoot. Santosh, feeling offended, questions Vaiju for slapping him, claiming he was merely conversing with her.
He then leaves, and Ranvijay departs without his shoes. Vaiju tries to stop him and retrieves his footwear, but Ranvijay, bewildered by Vaiju’s actions, wonders aloud what his mother sees in her. Jaya inquires about Vaiju’s whereabouts, and Kaveri explains that Santosh was the instigator.
Ranvijay questions Vaiju’s behavior, citing her previous misjudgment that led to his mother’s wrongful imprisonment. Vaiju halts him and reveals her actions were motivated by her love for her family. Despite this, Ranvijay questions the propriety of her actions, suggesting no family would condone such behavior from their daughters. Vaiju is left in tears as Ranvijay departs.
Jaya consoles her, while Kaveri regrets not heeding her advice to Vaiju. Jaya comforts Vaiju, and Kaveri blames Santosh for the situation. Santosh, in turn, approaches Jaikant, claiming he followed his instructions, endured a slap, and now demands more money, which Jaikant grants him.
Jaikant expresses his determination to thwart Vaiju’s ambition to control him and prevent her from marrying Ranvijay. Meanwhile, Ranvijay returns home and informs everyone that Vaiju was seen slapping her brother-in-law at the temple.
Vasundara speculates that Santosh’s past actions against Kaveri may have incited this incident. Ranvijay, disillusioned by Vaiju’s behavior, asserts that her frequent outbursts and lack of self-control make her unsuitable for him.
