The episode begins with Ranvijay firmly refusing to marry Vaiju and leaving. Rao Sahab acknowledges that trying to reason with him now is futile. Despite Vaiju’s disappointment, Vasundara praises her, but Vaiju remains upset. Jaya steps in to comfort Vaiju, who expresses her lack of regret over the situation.
She explains that Santosh’s actions pushed Ranvijay to anger, and if he believes she’s at fault, then the relationship shouldn’t proceed. Despite Jaya’s disagreement, Vaiju is firm in her decision not to explain herself further. She reassures Aai that she’s fine and requests they decline Vasundara’s invitation. However, Vasundara calls Aai and insists they come over. Vaiju signals her disagreement, but Aai accepts the invitation, thanking Vasundara.
Vaiju asserts they shouldn’t attend, but Aai and Kaveri convince her otherwise, reminding her that Ranvijay took time to reconsider and decided to meet her, indicating a positive outlook. Aai instructs them to dress well and suggests bringing a gift. Jaya, emotional, questions Vasundara’s decision to invite Vaiju’s family. Meanwhile, Naagraj expresses discomfort with the situation, suggesting they could have invited someone else to the puja.
Rao Sahab confronts Vasundara, accusing her of imposing decisions on the family without their consent. Vasundara denies this, stating their focus on external matters has shifted responsibility to her. She leaves, and Kaki comments that they already know Vaiju well.
As preparations for the puja continue, Saleem urges everyone to hurry. Jaya, trying to comfort Vaiju, encourages her to focus on the future and forget the past. However, she decides not to accompany them, citing health issues, fearing she would become the center of attention if she attended. Vaiju insists Jaya’s support is crucial and refuses to go without her, highlighting her importance in her life.
Jaya assures, “I’ll come, take my medicines, and get well soon.” Meanwhile, Vasundara oversees the arrangements and instructs Ranvijay to prepare. He questions the need for their guests. Vasundara, confident in Vaiju as the right match, insists on them spending time together. She warmly welcomes Vaiju and her family, a sight that Jaya observes silently.
Naagraj and his wife, however, take the opportunity to taunt Vaiju, reminding everyone of her past actions. Undeterred, Vasundara praises Vaiju’s courage in standing against injustice, highlighting her inherent truthfulness, a quality she believes few possess. She then directs Vaiju to join Ranvijay, who is preparing for their time together, but Vaiju requests Jaya’s presence.
When Ranvijay arrives to greet them, Jaya avoids his gaze and attempts to mask her face, citing a cold and flu. Despite her reluctance, Vasundara insists that she reveal her face, emphasizing that they are family and she should not feel the need to hide. Jaya, visibly concerned, hesitates.
