Anupama tells Devika and Bhavesh that the only fear that truly grows with time is the fear of old age. Devika and Bhavesh discuss the fears that elderly people experience, highlighting the challenges of declining sight and hearing. Anupama reflects on her conversations with Baa and Babuji, noting how they often feel like a burden despite their contributions.
She mentions that Baa is the head of the kitchen, and Babuji helps with various tasks like buying and cutting vegetables. She recounts an incident where Pakhi was asleep, and Babuji was scolded, indicating the burdens they bear.
Bhavesh mentions that Vanraj always respected his parents like gods but still hurt them deeply. Anupama finds it strange that while elderly people carry many burdens, they are still considered a burden by others.
Vanraj recalls Pakhi humiliating Babuji and expresses his dilemma to Kavya. He felt caught between his daughter and his father. Kavya offers him water and points out that Pakhi’s indifference toward Ishu contributed to the situation. She criticizes Pakhi for not caring for Ishu, unlike Babuji and Baa, who always take care of the children. Kavya believes that Pakhi was likely sleeping while Baa and Babuji were upset and crying.
Devika suggests that elderly people might be happier in an old age home, where they can enjoy life more than living with such a family. Bhavesh agrees, but Anupama hopes that things will improve and Mr. Shah will realize his mistake.
Later, Baa tells Babuji that they can’t die yet because Dimpy and Titu’s wedding is approaching. She insists they must stay to avoid turning the celebration into mourning. Baa mentions that after the wedding, Titu will need more space, implying they might leave the house. She then switches off the lights, and Babuji cries himself to sleep.
Anuj calls Anupama and asks if everything is fine, mentioning that Dimpy informed him about the recent events. Anupama reassures him, saying everything is fine for now. Anuj suggests she should try to sleep, but Anupama admits she can’t. He offers to come over, adding that he won’t apologize for wanting to be there for her.
Meanwhile, Baa wakes up, realizing she forgot to tie the gota to Dimpy’s dupatta because of Ishu’s incident. She laments that Pakhi was upset today, and tomorrow… Babuji interjects, saying Dimpy would have been upset too. Baa asks for his help, worrying that Vanraj will be caught between them and their children.
Anupama then asks Anuj about Rahul. Anuj says he spoke to him and inquires about the catering for the wedding now that Gulati is gone. Anupama replies they haven’t found a caterer yet. Anuj suggests she cook, but Anupama declines, saying Mr. Shah will handle it. Anuj wonders if she’s afraid of cooking.
Baa tells Babuji to be careful with the tea cup, noting that no one has come to the kitchen yet and she’s unsure if the kids have had their milk. Just then, Ansh, Mahi, and Pari arrive, asking for milk, roti, and to play cricket. Baa and Babuji, reminded of the accusations against them, hesitate to get up.
Kavya, Kinjal, and Dimpy ask Baa for help in the kitchen, but she remains silent. Ishu arrives and hugs Babuji, who blesses her. Kavya says they all need his blessings. Ishani asks for masala milk, and Baa agrees to make it.
Pakhi enters and scolds Ishani, telling her not to ask anyone for help and insisting she will do all the work. Ishani responds that she only asks Dimpy Mami when Pakhi doesn’t help. Pakhi tries to drag Ishani away, and Kinjal intervenes, asking what Pakhi is doing.
Pakhi sarcastically tells Kinjal to enjoy her brief stay. Ishu retorts that she doesn’t want to be with Pakhi, calling her a bad mother. Pakhi threatens to slap Ishu, but Adhik arrives and warns her not to touch their daughter. Ishu runs to Adhik, who comforts her, saying that everything will be alright now that he’s there.
Later, Devika and Anupama exit the market with vegetables. Devika asks if Anupama is cooking. Anupama says no, they will hire a chef or caterer. Devika questions if Anupama is afraid to cook. Anupama admits she is.
Devika reminds her that she is Annapurna and hasn’t made any mistakes, comparing it to giving up dancing over a mistake. Anupama decides to buy a coconut for Babuji. Devika comments that Anupama’s confidence has been shaken, but assures her that everything will be fine.
