Devika asks Anuj if he’s following her. Anuj explains that he came for a walk and decided to get some lemongrass and ginger because his throat feels unwell. Anupama offers him tea, mentioning that she had made it for Bhavesh, but since he left, she stored it in a flask. Anuj takes the tea, remarking that it must be his destiny. He quickly drinks it, exclaiming that it’s hot, then admits it’s not too bad.
Anupama jokingly tells Devika to hit Anuj with a bottle gourd for scaring them. Devika quips that a coconut would be better. She then asks Anuj to drop them off and hands him their bags. Anupama smiles, and when her slipper slips off, Anuj kindly helps her put it back on. Devika hopes they will be together soon.
Pakhi confronts Adhik, asking if anyone invited him. Adhik retorts that he doesn’t need an invitation to see his daughter. Pakhi tells him to leave and tries to take Ishani, but ends up falling, only to be caught by Vanraj. Pakhi accuses Vanraj of making her fall. Adhik denies any involvement, saying he doesn’t need to stoop to her level. Vanraj glares at Adhik, who asserts that he’s just as protective of his daughter and intends to take her away because she’s not safe there.
He points out everyone knows how Vanraj is, implying Ishani would be better off with him. Pakhi defends herself, blaming Babu ji for the incident. Adhik counters, saying the real problem is Pakhi prioritizing her beauty sleep over their daughter. He claims to have proof and plans to get court orders for Ishani’s custody after Dimpy and Titu’s wedding.
Devika, Anupama, and Anuj arrive and are shocked to see Vanraj grabbing Adhik’s collar. Vanraj declares that Adhik can’t do this. Adhik calmly tells him he’s mistaken and to wait and see. Anupama tries to explain that the incident was an accident and doesn’t reflect their care for Ishani. Babu ji admits his mistake, but Adhik insists it’s not Babu ji’s fault, but Pakhi’s for neglecting Ishani. Anupama pleads with Adhik to listen, but he refuses to accept her words.
Pakhi accuses Anupama of telling Adhik about the incident, claiming she overheard her conversation with Vanraj. Anupama denies this, asserting that as Ishani’s father, Adhik has the right to know the truth. Pakhi accuses Anupama of conspiring with Adhik out of revenge. Anupama reiterates that she didn’t inform him.
Pakhi vows to hate Anupama so intensely that she won’t be able to bear it. Adhik declares Pakhi a failure as a wife, mother, and daughter, promising to ensure Ishani doesn’t turn out like her and won’t allow her to stay with Pakhi. He reveals that a doctor friend, not Anupama, informed him about the situation. Kinjal then ushers the kids inside.
Toshu steps in front of Pakhi, arguing with Adhik. Adhik retorts, “How would you feel if Kinjal didn’t let you meet Pari?” Toshu counters, “How would you feel if someone misbehaved with your sister?” Adhik snaps, “Don’t bring my sister into this.” They are about to come to blows when Anuj intervenes to stop Adhik.
Pari, Ansh, Ishu, and Mahi tearfully speak about their parents, praying to God to reunite Ishu’s parents. Adhik tells Toshu that this matter doesn’t concern him and asks him to step aside. Anuj and Vanraj intervene to de-escalate the situation. Adhik explains, “I didn’t come here to fight. I apologize to Dimpy. The kids have suffered because of me. I’ve paid alimony and Ishani’s maintenance, yet I’m denied the right to see her. Why should I bear all the responsibility without any rights? My life is ruined, and my marriage is broken too.
” He asks Vanraj how he would cope without seeing his daughter and if he could go a day without meeting Ansh. Adhik continues, “Even men feel pain. I wasn’t invited to my sister’s wedding.” He then hugs Anuj, expressing his desire to see Choti, Anuj, and Mummy. He apologizes for everything and declares, “I’m leaving now, but I want to make it clear that I will take Ishani, and I won’t listen to anyone.”
Aadhya wonders where he went early in the morning when she receives a call from Shruti and doesn’t know what to say. Adhik turns to Anuj and remarks, “I don’t know what happened between you two, but I know only the lucky find true love. If love isn’t genuine, you end up like me.” He adds, “Your love is real, and everyone here knows Anuj and Anupama are incomplete without each other. Maan’s love story is unique and shouldn’t remain unfinished.
” He asks Anuj and Anupama to consider this and leaves. Anuj looks at Anupama, reflecting on how others perceive their relationship. Anupama thinks that if their love had been true, they wouldn’t have broken up. Anuj suggests they give it another try.
Pakhi demands Vanraj call a lawyer to make a case against Adhik so strong that he won’t sleep a night. Vanraj asks what to say to Adhik when Pakhi used to provoke his actions. Pakhi blames Babu Ji. Vanraj sternly tells her not to mention Babu Ji again, recalling her misbehavior from worry. He retreats to his room, crying. Mahi consoles him, emotionally touching his heart and removing bad vibes.
Aadhya calls Anuj, asking where he is. Anuj replies that he went to the market for lemongrass and met Devika and Anupama, so he offered them a ride home. Aadhya questions how he often meets Anupama. Anuj attributes it to destiny and tells her to get ready as he’s coming to pick her up. Aadhya, thinking that things wouldn’t have turned out this way if Shruti were around, tries calling Shruti, but she doesn’t answer.
Anuj is putting things away in the kitchen when Anupama enters. She catches a coconut that’s about to fall. Her hair gets caught in his shirt, and she carefully frees it.
