Kailash and Aaji bring Vaiju home. Kailash receives a call and asks Vaiju to speak with Kaveri. Kaveri advises Vaiju to be cautious, noting the differences between the village and their current location. Vaiju inquires about Jaya, and Kaveri reassures her that Jaya’s condition remains unchanged but that they will take care of her.
Meanwhile, Ranvijay is by Jaya’s side, deeply emotional, when Vasundara arrives. Ranvijay expresses his despair over Jaya’s illness, to which Vasundara suggests leaving it to God and visiting the Nandi Maharaj temple for hope.
Ranvijay visits the temple to pray for Jaya, and Vaiju also prays for her. Kailash informs Vaiju that Durga’s will names Jaya as the heir, but since Jaya can’t manage the farm, he plans to transfer the land to himself. Vaiju resists, insisting that Jaya’s property should remain hers.
Rao Sahab advises Vasundara to take care of her health, noting her concern for others. Vasundara expresses her desire to visit Vaiju, but Ranvijay reassures her that Kaveri has spoken to Vaiju, who is doing fine. Vasundara gives Ranvijay a chain, a precious keepsake from Vaiju’s father, and asks him to deliver it to Vaiju.
Aaji encourages Vaiju to rest, but Vaiju insists on finding work. Aaji learns that Vaiju plans to work at a distant factory and worries about the commute, but Vaiju is determined. Vasundara reflects on her own struggles after her husband’s death and emphasizes the importance of supporting Vaiju.
Ranvijay agrees to visit Vaiju and deliver the chain, understanding the significance of the gesture. Vasundara insists it’s more than just a delivery; it’s a message of support.
Aaji feeds Vaiju. As Vaiju eats, she thinks of Durga and begins to cry. The weather turns stormy. Vaiju comments on the impending rain. Aaji advises her not to go out, saying it’s an omen. Despite Aaji’s concerns, Kailash insists Vaiju must go to work and bring money home. He sends Vaiju off.
At the factory, Vaiju asks for work, but the foreman tells her to return in a few months. Desperate, Vaiju pleads for a job, but he dismisses her. Suddenly, the lights go out. The foreman laments about finding an electrician at this hour.
Vaiju offers to help, mentioning her experience fixing motors on her farm. She successfully restores the power, earning applause from the workers. Impressed, the foreman hires her with the condition that she must make 30 swings daily or leave. Vaiju agrees.
Later, Ranvijay visits Kailash and Aaji. He explains that his family is worried about Vaiju and he wants to check on her. Kailash questions his concern, and Ranvijay reveals he’s a family friend and wishes to speak with Vaiju. Aaji informs him that Vaiju is at work and offers to call her. When she does, Vaiju doesn’t answer, intent on finishing her work before heading home.
