The episode begins with Ranvijay approaching Vaiju. She apologizes, saying she didn’t realize the poetry was meant to be printed on the card and suggests he can change it. He reassures her, saying it was actually very good and that both he and Jaya liked it, but admits he’s struggling with his anger. Vaiju promises that no one will ever find out what happened in Jhumri Patan.
Jaya overhears and asks what happened there. Vaiju and Ranvijay exchange worried looks, and Vaiju quickly fabricates a story, explaining that Ranvijay gets angry whenever she brings it up. Ranvijay gently encourages Jaya to rest and offers her food. Jaya expresses a dislike for khichdi and wishes her mother could cook something for her.
Ranvijay insists he’ll cook for her instead. She skeptically notes that he only knows how to boil eggs, but he promises to make a delicious meal and playfully adds that she’ll have to kiss the chef’s hands if she enjoys it. He heads to the kitchen.
Vaiju hears noise from the kitchen and goes to check. She finds Ranvijay cooking and asks what he’s doing. He responds that he’s preparing food. Vaiju offers to help, but he declines. She leaves him to it, amused as he tears up from chopping onions.
Vaiju claims she knows how to make Raita, Jaya’s favorite dish. Ranvijay agrees they should include it and asks for curd, which she fetches from the fridge. Together, they prepare curd cucumber Raita and Jowar rotis. Vaiju also gets some coconut water.
Ranvijay takes the food to Jaya, who is delighted by the lovely setup. He hopes she’ll like it and invites her to join him. Jaya is impressed by the presentation. As they enjoy the meal, Ranvijay reminisces about Vaiju’s rotis. Jaya playfully accuses him of cheating, noting that Vaiju must have made the rotis, as she used to make similar ones for Raja.
Ranvijay admits that Vaiju’s help was cheating but insists he made the Raita himself. Jaya tastes it and finds it delicious, making them both smile. He declares he’s won the challenge and reminds her of the agreed-upon condition. Jaya pretends not to remember but eventually hugs him. Vaiju, watching them, feels sad and accidentally drops a glass, drawing their attention. She apologizes and explains that she brought coconut water.
Jaya reassures, “It’s okay, don’t worry. I’ll clean it up. Wait, you’re not wearing slippers.”Ranvijay scolds Vaiju. The next morning, Vaiju prays. She steps out and overhears Sulekha talking.
Sulekha remarks, “You watch too many serials, your mind works like that. Let me show you something good.” She shows a video of Jaya’s friends and warns, “Don’t think you’re doing Jaya a favor. She’s Ranvijay’s choice and this household’s daughter-in-law, just like you.”
Jaikant becomes angry. Vaiju leaves. Naagraj advises Sulekha, “You shouldn’t have said that about Jaya. Vaiju felt bad.”Sulekha dismisses him, and Vaiju helps Jaya get ready. She recalls Ranvijay’s words and tears up.Curious, Jaya asks, “What’s wrong?”
Vaiju responds, “Forget the past and think about the future.” Ranvijay smiles upon seeing Jaya approach. Vasundara adorns Jaya with bangles and states, “Now you’re our daughter-in-law.” She calls Vaiju to join them, seating her down and presenting her with blessings as well.Ranvijay questions, “Why?”
Vasundara explains, “She’ll also wear new clothes for the engagement.”Ranvijay wonders, “Why should she come? There’s always such drama. I was ensuring the rituals go smoothly. Jaya insists, “My sister will be with me during the wedding functions.”
Vaiju agrees, “He’s right. I shouldn’t be here.”Jaya interjects, “I want you to stay.” Vasundara urges Vaiju to accept the saree. Ranvijay shows Jaya a project, saying, “I thought this was the best way to keep you close during tough times.”
Moved, Jaya declares, “I love you. I promise, I’ll never leave you.” He gives her a gift—a new mobile phone.Jaya hesitates, “Thank you, but it’s not necessary. Vaiju and I are sharing the same phone.”
Ranvijay asserts, “No, you don’t need to share anything with Vaiju.” Vaiju splashes water on the ground, and a girl arrives at the scene.
