Vanraj smiles. Anupama asks Babuji if he has taken his medicine, and Babuji confirms he has. Yashdeep assures Anupama that he will do whatever it takes to prove her innocence, including going to court and filing a case against the food critic. Babuji remarks that if the food critic had given them more time, none of this would have happened.
Anuj expresses his confusion over the critic’s haste to inform the media despite his request for more time. He vows to hold accountable anyone involved with Gulati and Rahul. Anupama confidently states that Spice and Chutney will reopen and reach new heights. Yashdeep asks if she will work there again when it reopens and whether she plans to return to America.
Anupama hesitates. Aadhya silently hopes she won’t say yes. Anupama finally announces she will go back to America, which makes Aadhya upset but brings joy to Anuj, Yashdeep, and Beeji, and the others. Anupama explains that she came to attend a wedding, not to escape, and that she intends to pursue the dreams she had before Pakhi was born.
She wants to live her life fully and prove to herself that she can achieve her goals. Everyone, except Vanraj, Toshu, Pakhi, and Aadhya, applauds. Holding her trophy, Anupama declares, “I am coming again, to say Namaste America.” Anuj stands and claps, while the kids dance around her. Babuji praises her, and Kavya exclaims, “Anupama, you rock!” The kids hug Anupama as she looks at Aadhya.
Anupama thanks Kanha Ji, expressing her pain over being punished for something she didn’t do. She feels grateful for finding light in the darkness and being able to breathe freely again, thanking Kanha Ji for restoring her faith. Anuj looks at her, reflecting on her love confession as the song “Tumhe Apna Banane Ki Kasam Khayi Hai” plays.
He moves closer to her, and she acknowledges his presence. Anuj prays to Kanha Ji and then asks Anupama if she can’t see the truth in his eyes. She didn’t expect the truth to come out so soon and thanks him for his unwavering support.
She believes everything will be fine with Kanha Ji’s blessings. Anuj, still emotional, wishes she would look at him while saying this. He admits that even after five years, he can’t bear to see her cry and constantly thinks about how to make her happy. He cherishes the memory of seeing her dance while cooking or walk joyfully on the road, feeling blessed. When he starts to speak further, Anupama stops him, reminding him that they can’t change the past. Anuj agrees but insists they can change the present to shape the future.
Aadhya wonders where Pops went after dropping her off. She realizes she missed Devika’s call and thinks Shruti might assume he went to Anupama. Aadhya feels this marriage will reunite them. Meanwhile, Anupama tells Anuj they can’t be selfish, but Anuj admits he wants to be selfish just once. Anupama insists they can’t find happiness by making others sad and shedding their tears.
Anuj pleads with her to say she wants to return to him, promising to convince everyone, including Aadhya. Anupama hugs him, their souls seem to merge and vanish. Anuj lights diyas, believing in the hope that one day they might reunite, but Anupama dismisses it.
As they leave the temple, Anupama mentions they must make everything right after Dimpy and Titu’s wedding. Anuj tells her he has spoken to his lawyer and will deal with Gulati. He offers to drop her off, but she declines and takes an auto instead.
At home, Baa and Babuji complain about their leg pain. Pari jokes, asking if it’s a new song. The kids massage their feet, bringing them relief. Babuji expresses pride in Anupama’s innocence being proven but laments that Gulati escaped. Baa jokes that if she were in better health, she would have caught Gulati and pulled his ears. Vanraj arrives, stating he has office work. Anupama receives messages from Vikram and KD, urging her to return soon.
Devika informs Anupama that she booked a hotel room for Beeji and Yashdeep near Shah house and that her hacker friend couldn’t trace the suspicious number. Devika suggests they steal the phone, but Anupama points out he always keeps it close. Devika proposes they follow him. Meanwhile, Vanraj meets the Inspector and gathers evidence against Titu, determined to break the marriage.
