Anupama and Anuj gaze at each other, tears brimming in their eyes. In his heart, Anuj crafts poetry, moved to tears. Anupama, too, turns and weeps. As they face each other, they manage a strained smile. He presents her with a rose, saying, “Happy Birthday, Anu.”
Anupama corrects him, “Anupama.” He responds, “Ms. Anupama Joshi.” Anupama, expressing gratitude, addresses him as Kapadia Sir. Anuj implores her to promise to find happiness and fulfill her dreams, to which Anupama nods. Vanraj observes them. Anuj signals his departure, and she gestures for him to smile. Anuj walks away, glancing back at Anupama, their incomplete story echoing in the air.
They exchange smiles and waves goodbye. Anupama reflects that glass, hope, and the heart are unbreakable; only the house can be decorated with broken pieces. She muses that stories don’t always end as desired, and one can either cry or laugh at the ending. Despite her loss, she cherishes the complete story she had with Anuj, now ended. Placing the rose on her cheek, she cries, then wipes her tears, urging herself to smile.
Later, Anupama returns home, where Vanraj sarcastically remarks on the success of “Anupama Jayanti.” He offers her a flower for the puja, but she dismisses his taunts and sympathy. Anupama rejects his offer to bring Anuj back, sarcastically suggesting he find his runaway son instead. Baa intervenes, urging them not to argue, especially with guests expected the next day.
Anupama excitedly asks about the arrival of Samar’s Ansh, Pakhi’s Ishani, and Kavya’s Mahi, expressing joy at meeting her father (Babu ji) the following day. Baa suggests Anupama stay for the children’s sake, as they rely on her for cooking and other household chores.
Meanwhile, Anuj returns home, where Aadhya hugs him gratefully, looking forward to becoming a family. After Aadhya leaves, Anuj and Shruti discuss their relationship. Shruti apologizes for her earlier insecurities, explaining that hearing about Anupama’s birthday triggered her fears.
Anuj assures her of his commitment to their family and friendship, acknowledging Anupama’s importance in their lives. Shruti, hopeful for a deeper connection with Anuj in the future, reaffirms her love for him.
The next day, preparations are underway for the family’s arrival. Anupama anticipates everyone’s favorites, including red carrot sweets for the kids. Kinjal asks about Toshu, and Anupama expresses uncertainty, noting Vanraj’s influence on him since childhood.
Vanraj attempts to convince Toshu to return, offering to speak to Anuj about dropping the case. However, Toshu is skeptical, knowing Anupama’s strong stance. Baa, Kinjal, Pari, and Anupama eagerly await the family’s arrival. Anupama, emotional, hangs a toran and is surprised to see her father (Babu ji) standing outside.
Overwhelmed, she embraces him, admitting she missed him dearly. Inside, Babu ji’s presence brings joy to the family, and Vanraj is reminded of his own family’s absence. Pakhi arrives, greeted warmly by Anupama and the family, setting the stage for a heartfelt reunion.
