Anupama rushes to stop Anuj, pleading with him not to take any drastic actions. Anuj strides into the hall and calls out for Shruti, causing everyone to rise from their seats. Shruti arrives, noticing Anupama standing behind her. Vanraj questions the sudden commotion, and Aadhya asks Anuj why he is angry. Anupama attempts to intervene, but Anuj gestures for her to stop.
Anuj confronts Shruti, demanding to know how she could have wronged Anupama. The room falls silent in shock. Shruti suggests discussing the matter privately at the hotel, but Anupama agrees that they should talk there. Anuj insists that the discussion happen right here, as Anupama was publicly humiliated and everyone deserves to know what transpired.
Vanraj claims they are all aware of the situation, while Baa questions why Anuj is making a scene at the wedding. Anuj explains that the matter concerns Anupama and must be addressed in her presence. He demands answers from Shruti about the closure of Spice and Chutney, the confiscation of the trophy, and the public humiliation and loss Anupama endured. He accuses the food critic of acting on Shruti’s orders, leaving everyone stunned.
Dimpy asks Anupama if she was aware of this. Anuj reveals that Anupama kept silent for the sake of Titu and their marriage, not wanting to jeopardize Shruti and Anuj’s relationship. Vanraj inquires how Anuj found out, and Anuj explains he overheard Anupama speaking to Mr. Dhillion.
Yashdeep interjects, wanting to say something. Vanraj remarks that Anupama finally has support after a long time. Yashdeep clarifies that he isn’t defending anyone but wants to speak the truth. He praises Anupama for managing her work and competition while selflessly caring for Aadhya and Anuj.
Shruti confesses that her actions were intentional. She admits to instructing Ms. Smith to spread negative news and file complaints to close Spice and Chutney, aiming to drive Anupama out of their lives and prevent the rekindling of the “Maan” story. Anuj accuses her of jeopardizing many jobs due to her jealousy. Shruti explains that she was consumed by envy and couldn’t think rationally. She tolerated Anupama for Aadhya’s sake but couldn’t bear her presence between them.
Shruti’s jealousy stemmed from seeing Anupama’s constant presence in Anuj’s heart. She felt inadequate despite being younger, more educated, and deeply loving Aadhya and Anuj. Shruti’s fear of losing them drove her to act out of insecurity, insisting that anyone in her position would have felt the same.
Devika confronts Shruti, saying, “How would you feel if I did the same to you?” Shruti responds, “I just wanted to close the spice and chutney shop, I never imagined it would go this far.” Devika retorts, “Are you a child who didn’t know the consequences?” Anuj removes his ring, declaring, “If you had done this to someone else, I might have forgiven you. But you did this to Anu, and I can never forgive you. Anu didn’t want this to happen, but from today, our relationship is over.” Everyone is shocked.
Anupama tries to calm Anuj, saying, “Don’t make decisions in anger. I’m upset with Shruti too, but consider why she did this, not just what she did. Remember when we were in need, Shruti helped us.” Anuj, firm in his decision, replies, “I was marrying her because of what she did for Choti, but our relationship is over because trust is gone.” Anupama pleads, “No.”
Devika tells Anupama, “Why are you interfering? If Shruti gets angry at Anuj later, she’ll take revenge. Anuj is doing the right thing.” Aadhya begs Anuj not to do this, crying. Anuj apologizes. Toshu smirks.**
**Vanraj accuses Anuj and Anupama of playing a bad game, saying they should have told Shruti so she could step aside. Anuj tells him to be quiet, but Vanraj continues, “This drama is happening in my house. Anuj didn’t want to marry Shruti because Anupama came back into his life. He realized Anupama was his first choice, and Shruti was always second. Now he’s breaking the marriage.” He expresses pity for Shruti.**
**Shruti blames Anuj, saying, “When I tried to discuss things with you, you always changed the topic. Everyone gets forgiveness, but not me. You and Anupama love each other so much that you can’t belong to anyone else. I didn’t want to accept it, but destiny forced me to.
Even though you were marrying me out of obligation, would you be happy in a loveless marriage?” She turns to Anupama, saying, “Even you love Anuj. I thought if I loved him enough, he would forget you. We were together for five years but never got closer, and even after being apart for five years, you two couldn’t separate.” Aadhya pleads with Anuj not to break their family, saying she wants Shruti.
Baa suggests they go to their hotel to sort out their problems. Devika and Vanraj agree. As they argue, Anupama intervenes, telling them to stop. She confronts Shruti, saying, “I’m angry and upset, and I can never forgive you. I never tried to take Anuj from you.
It was hard, but I did what was right. I always prayed for Anuj and Choti’s happiness and even yours.” Shruti counters, “AK loves you, and you love him. The question isn’t whether you want to be with him, but whether you love him.” Everyone watches intently.
Shruti brings Aadhya to Anupama, placing Anupama’s hand on Aadhya’s head. She challenges Anupama, “I know you won’t take a false oath on Aadhya. Do you love AK or not?” Anupama admits, “Yes, I do. I love Anuj very much.” The reactions are mixed. Vanraj quips to Toshu to check if Mr. Dhillion fainted, and Toshu laughs, apologizing.
Anupama continues, “I will always love him, but I’ve moved on. I don’t want to come between you and AK, and I don’t want to return to Anuj’s life. I’m swearing on my daughter’s head. I’m sorry, I can’t stop loving him even if I want to. But above all, I am a mother, and my happiness lies in my daughter’s happiness, which is with you both.” Aadhya cries, upset.
