Dimpy wonders why these things always happen to Mom. Kavya acknowledges Anupama’s goodness but laments that bad things keep happening to her. The conversation takes place over a video call with Kinjal. Dimpy inquires about Mom’s whereabouts.
Kinjal replies that she doesn’t know and even Anuj is unaware. Kavya expresses pity for Anupama and questions if Toshu is responsible. Kinjal speculates that he might be, or maybe not. Kavya suggests asking Toshu not to inform Vanraj. Kinjal reveals that Toshu doesn’t listen to her and advises against informing Baa and Babu ji. Kavya assures they will manage.
Vanraj interrupts, noticing Kinjal’s tears, and asks why she’s crying. They cover up, claiming they were discussing kids and got emotional. Vanraj inquires about food critics and mentions Anupama isn’t answering calls. Kinjal assures everything is fine and promises to let them talk to Anupama tomorrow, admitting she also doesn’t know where she is and wonders about her whereabouts.
Anuj discovers Anupama asleep on a bench. Shruti, angry at Anuj’s trust in Anupama, makes a call and then decides to come. Anuj informs Anupama that the food blogger won’t post anything, but they need legal advice due to her partnership in the business.
He urges her to come home, takes her hand, and leads her to the car. Shruti plans to leave and return before Anuj, but she sees him bringing Anupama. Anuj questions her departure, and Shruti claims she’s going to meet a friend to cool her head. Anuj asks for 10 minutes to join her, but Shruti insists on going with Ana and asks him to take care of Anupama before leaving.
The news of Anupama‘s actions goes viral, shocking everyone. Toshu handles the flood of calls, admitting to Anupama’s mistake. He then informs Vanraj about it. Kinjal tries to explain to people that there’s a misunderstanding, but Vanraj begins tarnishing Anupama’s reputation. Babu ji defends Anupama, stating she’s innocent. Aadhya switches on the TV, only to hear the reporter stating that the Indian community is boycotting Anupama for allegedly defaming the country, suggesting she should be deported from America.
Anuj arrives as Vanraj calls Anupama, insulting her further and forbidding her from attending the upcoming marriage in India. Anupama, shattered, denies any wrongdoing. Anuj tries to console her, regretting the rapid spread of the news. Anupama retreats to her room, locking herself in. Anuj seeks the keys from Shruti, who claims she doesn’t have them. Inside her room, Anupama is haunted by a photo.
Titu visits Vanraj’s house, where Vanraj gleefully informs Baa and Babu ji of Anupama’s fall from grace, congratulating them on her humiliation. Kavya defends Anupama, but Vanraj scolds her and Dimpy, warning them against emulating Anupama’s behavior. He declares that Anupama is dead to them, and they are to never speak her name again.
Anupama gazes at the photo, lost in thought. Aadhya, noticing her distraction, questions Anuj about his persistent use of “Anu Anu.” She informs him about the complaint lodged with the health department, which has now gone viral. Anuj expresses bewilderment at Ms. Smith’s unverified complaint and assures Aadhya that such individuals should be expelled from their home. Aadhya laments the repercussions, especially regarding her school attendance. Anuj promises to resolve the misunderstanding and insists that Aadhya, being innocent, should not be deprived of her education.
However, the situation escalates when Kukreja informs Anuj about a health department raid targeting Spice and Chutney, aimed at its closure. Anuj, taken aback, immediately instructs Kukreja to halt the proceedings and rushes to the scene. Anupama overhears and rushes out of the house in concern.
Meanwhile, Shruti, possibly the complainant, harbors hopes that this raid will lead to the closure of Spice and Chutney, believing it will remove Anupama from their lives. Aadhya, on the other hand, finds solace in the fact that a food critic’s complaint might lead to improvement.
Dimpy and Kavya speculate that Toshu might be behind the complaint, citing his fear of cockroaches and a possible desire for revenge. Vanraj defends Toshu, insisting that he is innocent. Kavya, however, argues that Anupama wouldn’t have done it either. Titu and Pakhi support Anupama, with Pakhi rebuffing Titu’s opinion, leading to a confrontation with Vanraj.
Yashdeep, devastated, sits on the floor amidst the chaos of the raid on Spice and Chutney. Anupama arrives at the scene to witness the health department’s disruption of the restaurant’s operations, with Vikram, KD, and others attempting to intervene. Outside, people gather, protesting against Anupama.
