Pandit ji announces that the Janeu Vidhi will now begin. Pari asks what it is. Anupama explains that the three threads of the Janeu represent three life debts: Dev Rinn (debt to the gods), Pitru Rinn (debt to the ancestors), and Acharya Rinn (debt to the teachers).
She explains that wearing the Janeu signifies a commitment to stay away from bad deeds and that it promotes purity in behavior, habits, communication, and thoughts, thereby enhancing one’s spiritual journey, focus, and concentration. Babu ji mentions that some people consider it old-fashioned. Anupama responds that the family should not forget their roots and values.
Pandit ji then asks Ansh and Titu to promise and swear that they will not engage in any wrongdoings. Vanraj helps Ansh wear his Janeu, while Titu puts on his own. Babu ji advises Vanraj not to make a mistake. Anupama thinks to herself that she must prevent Vanraj from making a mistake and needs to expose Toshu.
Meanwhile, Anuj reassures Shruti, telling her not to cry as they are going to attend a wedding, not a battle. Shruti, feeling anxious, hugs Aadhya. Aadhya asks her to answer her calls. Anuj reminds Shruti to take her medicines on time, mentioning that Anupama has left notes everywhere to remind her. Shruti asks Anuj to return soon. Anuj assures her to take care. Aadhya tells Shruti to get the mandap ready and says that the marriage will happen as soon as she arrives.
Anupama informs Babu ji that she is leaving. The kids urge her not to go. Babu ji questions what she will do alone at Bhavesh’s house. Baa says to let her go. Vanraj mentions that there is less space here. Anupama explains that Bhavesh has been lonely since their mother passed away, and she wants to spend some time with her brother before leaving.
Vanraj asks if she plans to return and questions her reason for doing so. Anupama firmly states that she seeks justice and will not suffer for someone else’s mistake. Babu ji encourages her, saying she will soar again.
Anupama says she will go. Titu offers to drop her off. Vanraj remarks that Titu is not yet their son-in-law, so he can help out. Dimpy asks if she can go as she needs to visit the tailor. Vanraj insists on taking her himself. Anupama questions Vanraj’s problem, assuring she will accompany them. Vanraj retorts that her bad reputation might affect them too.
Anuj talks to someone and urgently requests information, determined to prove Anu’s innocence at any cost. Anupama returns home to find Devika surprising her with a celebration cake for her victory as a superstar chef. Anupama questions her achievements, but Devika reassures her, calling her a superstar and gifting her a bracelet.
Devika inquires about the Shah house, and Anupama mentions Baa, Vanraj, and Toshu struggling with the heat. Barkha quips that things will soon change as Dimpy and Babu Ji have invited her to a wedding, making Anupama happy. Devika asks for masala tea, leading Anupama to reminisce about Beeji and her customers. Devika dismisses negative thoughts and hugs her.
Later, the Shah family enjoys Aam ras together. Baa notes the kids’ excitement, Kavya mentions the difficulty in getting them to sleep, and everyone praises the Aam ras. Kinjal reveals that Anupama made it.
Toshu criticizes Anupama, accusing her of causing trouble with Yashdeep. Babu Ji defends Anupama, while Baa questions his support for her. Babu Ji calls out Baa for not treating Anupama as a daughter. Kinjal and Kavya support Anupama’s innocence, while Vanraj and Toshu remain critical. Dimpy and the others vow to support Anupama.
Vanraj receives a call to catch someone, while Anupama gets a call from Yashdeep, who is distressed. Devika encourages Anupama, asking about her outfit for mehendi, and they discuss Titu, a celebrity dancer who loves Dimpy and Ansh and is willing to be a ghar jamai despite challenges from Vanraj and Baa.
Anupama receives an unknown call about meeting someone regarding Tapish. Devika finds it suspicious but they decide to go. Vanraj also gets a mysterious call, retrieves an envelope, and sneaks out, observed by Kavya. Anupama and Devika agree it might be an attempt to disrupt the wedding but proceed with caution.
