A boy’s family visits Deepika’s house with a marriage proposal for her. Deepika’s father, Mr. Agarwal, welcomes them warmly. The neighbors serve snacks to the guests. The boy’s father asks Mr. Agarwal to call Deepika. When Deepika enters, Mr. Agarwal proudly mentions that she won a gold medal in college and could have pursued further studies through a scholarship, but chose to help him with the family business.
Despite her achievements, the boy’s family disapproves of Deepika due to her skin tone. Meanwhile, Jahnvi walks by talking on the phone. The boy’s family inquires about her, and Shobha, Deepika’s stepmother, proudly mentions that Jahnvi recently won the Miss Rajasthan beauty contest. The boy’s family then asks Mr. Agarwal to send Deepika away.
After Deepika leaves, the boy’s family criticizes her dark skin and the boy demands to marry Jahnvi instead. Shobha insults the boy, pointing out that he is just a simple bank clerk aspiring to marry a future Miss Universe. Mr. Agarwal pleads with them to accept Deepika, but the boy’s mother arrogantly claims her son can have any girl, so they won’t accept a dark-skinned one.
Mr. Agarwal falls at their feet, begging them to judge Deepika by her character, not her color. Deepika intervenes, prioritizing her father’s dignity over the marriage. She firmly tells the boy’s family to leave, and Shobha angrily comments that the snacks were wasted since Deepika was rejected again. Deepika comforts her father, affirming that her skin tone is her identity inherited from her mother and he shouldn’t humiliate himself on her behalf.
The next day, Deepika sees a young girl searching for her parents on the street before collapsing. Remembering her own experience of getting lost at a fair as a child, Deepika rushes to help. She seeks assistance from passing vehicles and bumps into Chirag’s car, asking him to help take the unconscious girl to the hospital. Chirag recognizes her from a temple and agrees to help.
At the hospital, the doctor initially refuses to treat the girl without more information, but Chirag, dressed in OT uniform, insists on immediate treatment and assures Deepika that he will take care of the situation. He instructs his team to check for missing person reports and advises Deepika to go home, but she stays and prays for the girl.
After some time, Chirag informs Deepika that the girl is now fine and reveals her name. The girl’s parents arrive, and Chirag explains how Deepika saved their daughter. Deepika credits the doctor for his help in reaching the hospital. Chirag insists that Deepika’s quick actions were crucial in saving the girl’s life. The girl’s parents express their gratitude to both Deepika and Chirag.
Later, Mr. Agarwal and Shobha prepare to go out. Mr. Agarwal suggests taking an auto-rickshaw, but Shobha prefers to use Jahnvi’s car. Jahnvi, however, refuses to drive in narrow lanes to avoid scratches on her car, suggesting they take an auto instead. Mr. Agarwal sarcastically remarks that Deepika would have driven them if she had a car, which irritates Shobha. After they leave, Jahnvi invites her friends over for an alcohol party.
Meanwhile, Lavanya finds a potential match for Chirag, but he rejects the girl, stating he is not ready for marriage yet and will only marry someone who understands him. Deepika returns home to find Jahnvi drunk and partying with her friends. When she tries to intervene, Jahnvi resists and attempts to go to a room with a male friend. Deepika stops her and, when Jahnvi becomes uncontrollable, slaps her to bring her back to her senses.
