Savi, visibly upset from Rajat’s harsh words, rides home with Shashank. He asks if she’s alright, reminding her that their engagement is tomorrow and questioning why Rajat is always so angry with her. Savi dismisses it, stating her concern is solely for Rajat’s daughter, not Rajat himself, whom she finds arrogant and uncaring.
Shashank advises maintaining distance from such people, given Rajat’s stature as a businessman. Savi expresses disdain, believing Rajat’s inability to care for his daughter makes him worthless in her eyes.
Shashank receives a call from a friend informing him of Harsh hosting a success party for Rajat. He declines attending due to their upcoming engagement, expressing excitement about their special day. Savi responds with a forced smile, acknowledging her own subdued excitement.
Meanwhile, Rajat arrives home and instructs Mamta to take Sai inside while he heads to Harsh’s party. Mamta reluctantly agrees, annoyed that she can’t join the party herself because of Sai. Aman questions Rajat’s decision to attend, to which Rajat confirms.
Mamta grumpily exits the elevator with Sai in tow, scolding her for ruining her makeup when Sai coughs near her. Mamta demands Sai praise her in front of Bhagyashree. Savi observes silently, empathizing with Sai’s plight under such callous people.
Bhagyashree warmly welcomes Sai and inquires about Rajat’s whereabouts. Mamta lies that he’s out on business. Bhagyashree invites them inside, and Mamta dismissively coughs again. Bhagyashree offers to make turmeric milk for Sai, but Mamta insists she’ll handle it, impressing Bhagyashree with her caring demeanor towards Sai.
At Harsh’s party, Ashika attends to guests while noticing Harsh’s distracted behavior. She questions him about a special guest, and Harsh teases a surprise. Ashika is dismayed to see Rajat arrive and confronts Harsh about inviting him. Harsh urges patience, welcoming Rajat with applause and lauding their shared success, even though Rajat corrects him that it was his individual effort.
Chitra encourages Rajat to open a bottle of champagne. Harsh interrupts, reminiscing about Ashika’s arrival and their passionate first night together, teasing Rajat about not being able to reclaim what he lost. He prompts Ashika to open the champagne, celebrating their supposed victory over Rajat.
Rajat reacts stoically, declining to join in their celebration, but Harsh insists on toasting to their trio. He revels in Rajat’s discomfort, enjoying the power play between them.
“Sai continues to cough uncontrollably. Mamta wakes up irritated and scolds her. Sai explains her cough won’t stop. Mamta gives her an adult syrup and urges her to sleep. Despite this, Sai continues to cough persistently. Mamta tries feeding her more syrup until she finally falls asleep. Sai coughs again and calls out for Pari aunty. Savi wakes up concerned for Sai, while Ashika tells Harsh she needs to talk urgently.
Harsh reassures Ashika he’s willing to talk for as long as she needs. She takes him aside, where Aman tells Rajat he was trying to prevent this confrontation. Ashika confronts Harsh about lying concerning her visit to his house earlier that day.
Harsh defends himself, mentioning he had even bought a diamond ring for her, believing it was their special day. Ashika, driven by greed, accepts the ring.
Harsh proudly announces the surprise diamond ring to the guests, taunting Rajat about his achievements. He boasts that whether now or later, he always ends up with Rajat’s most cherished possessions. Rajat remembers saving for six months to buy a diamond ring for Ashika. In a flashback, Ashika comments on the size of the diamond, but Rajat reassures her of its significance on her finger.
Returning to the present, Rajat laments that no matter the size of a diamond, it’s just a stone. Harsh argues that while it may be a stone to some, it’s precious to others. He dances intimately with Ashika, further unsettling Rajat who begins drinking heavily.”
