Isha, visibly upset, tells Savi they should quickly get ready and head home as Shashank and his mother are waiting for the engagement. Savi reveals that the engagement is canceled. Tara apologizes to Rajat for her mistake. Raju insists they apologize to the Bhosales, who saved Savi but were sent to jail instead.
He adds that Savi left her engagement to save Sai, and now the engagement is canceled because of their actions. He scolds Bhagyashree for sending Sai with the irresponsible Rajat and the brainless Mamta to the award function. Rajat mentions he withdrew the complaint, so they should be released by now.
Raju lashes out at him for his irresponsible behavior, noting that while Rajat can manage a big company and win CEO of the year, he can’t handle his own daughter. Rajat gets a call from a news channel reminding him of an interview tonight, and he angrily tells them to cancel it.
Isha continues to cry profusely after learning about the engagement cancellation. Savi tries to comfort her, saying it’s good the engagement is off because Shashank is a coward and not fit to be her life partner. Isha laments that Savi has done nothing wrong yet bad things always happen to her.
A constable watches the news where Harsh’s puppet TV anchor Chitra reports that the college’s principal Shantanu and vice principal Isha were arrested for kidnapping Rajat Thakkar’s daughter. Aman tries to console a guilt-ridden Rajat, advising him to focus on other things despite his wrongdoings toward Savi’s family. Rajat, sipping alcohol, confesses he doesn’t know what he’s feeling. Tara approaches him, admitting she’s at fault, not him.
Rajat acknowledges that Savi was right about him being a bad father, as he never paid attention to Sai and punished her for Ashika’s mistakes. Tara urges him to punish Ashika and Harsh by giving the interview. Aman and Bhagyashree also encourage him, with Bhagyashree noting that his father is proud of his success, even celebrating his CEO of the year award with garbha.
Chitra receives a call and informs Harsh that Rajat agreed to the interview. Harsh commends her, although Chitra is confused about why he’s insisting on the interview and spreading fake news that Savi’s family kidnapped Rajat’s daughter, while the truth is she saved them.
Harsh explains that Chitra’s actions compensate for her failure to secure the award for him. He acknowledges Savi’s innocence and moral values and instructs Chitra to arrange a face-off interview between Savi and Rajat.
Rajat leaves his flat for work, noticing Savi’s missed calls. He assumes she called to inform him about Sai and considers apologizing. He reaches to ring her doorbell but hesitates, recalling how he brutally insulted Savi, and walks away. Isha, in emotional turmoil, tells the family she’s trying to contact Shashank and his family, but they aren’t responding.
She believes Shashank is worried about his career as Rajat is his biggest client and plans to apologize to the Thakkars to clear the misunderstanding and convince Shashank to reschedule the engagement in a day or two. Savi begs her not to apologize to the Thakkars and gives her Ishaan’s promise. Isha insists she wants to see Savi’s engagement, but Savi retorts that Isha will see her dead face if she mentions the engagement again. Isha stops.
Savi receives a call from the school principal, who asks about the news. Savi insists she is innocent and tells the principal to remove her from the job if necessary. The principal explains she is getting calls from concerned parents and, although worried about Savi, has to address their concerns.
Savi ends the call, stating she doesn’t want to comment further. She informs Harini and Mrumayi about the conversation. Mrumayi remarks that Isha was right about Savi being too good and letting people take advantage of her, including Rajat, who always misbehaves with her.
Chitra, Harsh’s accomplice, calls Savi and admits to airing the news. Savi angrily confronts her, declaring it fake. Chitra acknowledges this but reveals Rajat is coming for an interview at 5 p.m., planning to gain sympathy with a fake story about his daughter’s kidnapping. She urges Savi to attend the interview and expose him. Savi agrees. Harsh comments that Rajat stole his award and now will face the consequences. Savi vows to expose Rajat.
Meanwhile, Rajat summons Shashank to his office. Shashank criticizes Savi’s actions towards Rajat, explaining it led to his broken engagement with her. Rajat sternly warns him to speak only when asked, then offers him a business contract to manage all his events for a year if he marries Savi. Rajat then instructs his assistant to inform the media about his upcoming interview.
