Patil brutally assaults Ishaan. Isha shouts “Ishu!” in concern. Patil asks Mandar who she is. Mandar replies that she is Ishaan’s mother, not a doctor. Patil remarks that Ishaan is fortunate to have parents willing to risk their lives for him, but his fate is sealed, and he should say his goodbyes.
He fires at Ishaan, but Isha steps in, taking the bullet in her shoulder. Ishaan and Shantanu rush to her, worried. Savi knocks the gun from Patil’s hand. Enraged, Ishaan attacks Patil, picking up an iron rod to strike him. The police commissioner arrives with his team, stopping Ishaan and arresting Patil and his men. As they are led away, Patil shouts that he will return for Savi.
Ishaan asks Isha why she risked her life to save him. Surekha interjects, saying Isha proved herself as a true mother and apologizes for her previous mistreatment. Isha reassures her, acknowledging the care Surekha provided for Ishaan. Ishaan tenderly calls Isha “Aayi” (mother). Isha, moved, asks him to repeat it and lovingly embraces Ishaan and Savi. A doctor arrives, examining Isha, and assures them the bullet only grazed her shoulder, and she is out of danger.
Ishaan then approaches Reeva. Reeva stops him, saying she promised to marry him but now acknowledges his love for Savi. She brings Ishaan and Savi together, stating that Ishaan’s actions today proved his true feelings. She encourages them to marry again, asking Ishaan to always be her friend. Emotionally, she hugs him, then places Savi’s hand in Ishaan’s, blessing them for a lifetime of happiness before leaving with her parents.
Surekha admits she made a mistake by not realizing that Ishaan and Savi are meant for each other. YRB agrees, confessing he thought his deep love for Surekha meant he understood love, but he was wrong and took too long to understand Ishaan and Savi’s bond. He apologizes to Savi for his misunderstanding, then to Ishaan. YRB promises to not only apologize but also correct his mistake by getting them married. Ishaan is shocked and asks what he means. Surekha then asks Savi if she will marry Ishaan.
Everyone is stunned. Anvi, followed by Shikha and Asmita, urge Savi to answer. Isha encourages her to say yes. Ishaan, feeling guilty for troubling Savi, tells her she can say no if her love for him has faded. Savi responds that true love never fades, and seeing the love in Ishaan’s eyes reignited her own feelings.
Ishaan passionately explains how important Savi is to him, admitting he feels unworthy of her, then kneels and asks if she will marry him. Savi nods yes. Chinmay suggests they have the wedding immediately and asks Shikha to prepare Savi.
YRB requests Shukla and Sandhya to perform Savi’s kanyadan, acknowledging their parental role in her life. Harini supports this idea. Nishi suggests cleaning up the mess Patil made and decorating for the wedding.
Shikha and Harini help Savi get ready. Ishaan arrives, and Shikha gives them a moment alone as a wedding gift. Savi confides in Ishaan about her fear that bad things always follow the good in her life, having lost her parents and family.
Ishaan promises to always support and never leave her. The wedding ceremony begins with “Shubh Mangal Savdhaan” playing in the background. They perform the pheras, and Ishaan puts the mangalsutra around her neck. The panditji declares the wedding complete.
Suddenly, Patil escapes from the police and barges in with a machine gun, firing wildly. Guests scatter in panic. A bullet hits Savi’s stomach. Ishaan tackles Patil, who shoots him multiple times and stabs him with a rod. Ishaan retaliates, stabbing Patil with the same rod, killing him. Ishaan collapses.
The family rushes Ishaan to the hospital. After treatment, Ishaan wakes up in the ICU with his parents beside him. He anxiously asks about Savi. Shantanu reassures him that Savi had surgery to remove the bullet and is fine.
Isha adds that Savi will want to see him when she learns he’s awake. Ishaan, sensing his time is short, removes his oxygen mask and asks his parents to promise to find Savi someone who will love her deeply and build a family with her. His parents cry, but Isha promises to always be with Savi and begs Ishaan to recover.
Ishaan apologizes to Shantanu for not being the son he hoped for, but Shantanu insists Ishaan is the best son. Ishaan makes Shantanu promise to take care of Isha and Savi, loving Savi as his own daughter. Shantanu promises. Ishaan recalls his first meeting with Savi, bids her farewell, expresses his eternal love, and passes away. His parents hold him, crying on his shoulder.
