Rajat arrived at the court venue for his divorce hearing, where reporters thronged and bombarded him with questions. Aman shielded him, saying “no comments,” and escorted him inside. They met their lawyer, Mr. Wadia, who informed Rajat that today was the final hearing for his divorce case and the judge would also decide about Sai’s custody. Mr. Wadia advised Rajat to speak thoughtfully. Rajat assured him that he would and asked him to ensure he gets Sai’s custody.
Harsh and Ashika arrived with Sai. Aman questioned why they brought Sai to court. Rajat remarked that they were seeking publicity and sympathy. Reporters swarmed Harsh and Ashika. Harsh stated that Sai was like his daughter and he wouldn’t hand her over to an irresponsible person.
Ashika instructed Mrs. Pereira to take care of Sai during the hearing. Sai, spotting Rajat, called out and ran towards him. Rajat knelt with open arms, but Ashika stopped her just before she reached him, telling her not to talk to strangers, and handed her over to Mrs. Pereira.
The court hearing commenced. The judge called Ashika and Rajat to the front row and mentioned that she had a question before reaching a conclusion. Meanwhile, Sai asked Mrs. Pereira to call Pari Aunty. Mrs. Pereira called Savi and handed the phone to Sai. Savi, noticing Sai sounded sad, asked what was wrong. Sai said she wanted to meet her, explaining that her mother brought her to court and even her father was there. Savi assured her that she would come soon and took the address from Mrs. Pereira.
The judge finalized Rajat and Ashika’s divorce, noting that according to their filing, their son Kian would stay with Ashika, and their daughter Sai with Rajat. Ashika’s lawyer argued that Ashika wanted custody of Sai as well, claiming Rajat was irresponsible. Rajat grew angry, but Mr. Wadia calmed him. Mr. Wadia informed the judge that Ashika had left Sai when she was 6 months old and had never returned.
He pointed out that Kian had been in a Panchgani boarding school for four years, and Ashika didn’t have time for him either. Now, she suddenly wanted Sai’s custody. Rajat recalled Ashika leaving him and Sai for a luxurious life with Harsh. The judge postponed the custody hearing for 15 days, stating that the court would investigate the matter and maintain the status quo until then. Rajat wanted to react, but Mr. Wadia restrained him.
In a tense courtroom scene, Ashika happily signs the final divorce papers presented by a court employee. Rajat, her ex-husband, reluctantly does the same, recalling the painful end of their relationship. The judge grants the divorce, severing their ties officially. Afterward, Rajat expresses to Wadia his determination to fight for custody of their daughter, Sai, vowing not to lose her to Ashika.
As reporters capture the moment, Harsh, Ashika’s current partner, exits the courtroom with her, promising a surprise. He arranges for Mrs. Pereira to take Sai home in a separate car, sparking Ashika’s curiosity. Harsh then reveals his gift to Ashika: a new car, gloating about his victory over Rajat. Ashika questions his motives, wondering if his happiness stems more from defeating Rajat than their own success. Nonetheless, they decide to celebrate.
Meanwhile, Sai, in Mrs. Pereira’s care, insists on seeing her father. Savi arrives, and Sai runs to Rajat, pleading to go home with him. Rajat coldly refuses, promising to take her home in 15 days, leaving Sai heartbroken. Savi comforts the distressed Sai and silently judges Rajat for his lack of empathy.
Back home, Bhagyashree is distressed about the custody battle and urges Wadia to secure Sai’s custody for Rajat. She laments how Ashika has disrupted their happiness and prays for someone to love and care for Sai like their own child. Savi then takes Sai to Harsh’s bungalow. Despite Sai’s reluctance, Savi gives her a comforting scarf and reassures her with a hug. Bhagyashree remains hopeful that Sai will find a loving mother figure who will cherish her as her own daughter.
In another subplot, Isha receives a concerning letter. Shantanu brings coffee and reads the letter, sharing Isha’s worry. They decide to keep the letter hidden from Savi. However, when Savi arrives home, she senses something is amiss. Despite Isha and Shantanu’s attempts to distract her, Savi picks up the fallen letter, curious about its contents.
