Savi fumes with anger seeing Rajat bribing a police inspector and sending him away. She mutters that this man is worse than she thought. Meanwhile, Rajat takes his parents’ blessings. Tara comments on his rare visits, saying he’s become like a festival that comes and goes. Lucky’s friends praise Rajat’s attitude, and Lucky boasts that Mumbai belongs to his brother.
Rajat advises Lucky to earn lots of money, as they can buy anything with it. Savi finds his mindset baffling. Lucky then asks the DJ to start the music and dances with his friends.
Rajat turns to Bhagyashree, questioning the festivities. Bhagyashree explains that they perform garba for everything. Rajat takes Randal Maa’s blessings. When Sai runs to him excitedly, he notices a tiny mole on her lip, reminding him of his ex-wife. He walks away, leaving Sai disappointed. Savi thinks what kind of man ignores his own daughter.
Bhagyashree prays to Randal Maa, lamenting that while the world and even Raju think Rajat is stone-hearted, he was once kind-hearted. She prays for someone to reconnect Rajat and Sai. Sai complains to Savi that she lost her holy thread and her papa didn’t pay attention to her.
Savi tears a piece of her sari, applies kumkum on it, and gives it to Sai, assuring her that it carries Maata’s blessings and that her papa loves her. Rajat, walking with Lucky, accidentally cuts his finger. Savi’s sari piece falls and she uses it to bandage his wound.
Later, Bhagyashree serves dinner to Rajat, noting his long absence and suggesting he should pay attention to Sai. When Rajat starts coughing, she offers him water and asks if he will stay home this time. He responds curtly that his business requires travel and he can’t stay home.
Bhagyashree suggests he marry to settle his and Sai’s lives. Rajat, angry, warns her to stop or he will never return again. Savi, recalling Rajat’s rude behavior towards Sai, thinks about what kind of man he is to neglect his daughter. Rajat, drinking alcohol, recalls Sai running to him.
Meanwhile, Savi tells Chocolate that his grandfather Rajat is really bad and takes him for a walk. Rajat passes by on the phone, scolding his friend for not getting Pranav to complete a report. His friend explains that Pranav’s son is ill and will finish the report by morning. Rajat angrily asks what he will tell his client.
Savi thinks about how ruthless Rajat is, unable to understand his employees’ problems. Just then, Harini calls Savi, asking her to handle Vansh. Savi exclaims loudly that people who can’t understand their children’s problems are not human. Rajat and his friend overhear her.
Rajat then tells his friend to warn Pranav but spare him this time. The friend questions if Rajat changed his mind after hearing the girl. Rajat denies it, saying he would never listen to such girls and could never get along with them. He starts drinking again.
The next morning, Savi prepares sheera (sweets) while chatting with Latha Kaki. She asks Latha why she isn’t coming with Mrinmoy. Latha explains that she’s sending Mrinmoy so both sisters can have long chats. Isha speaks to Latha next, and Latha thanks her for helping after her husband’s death, taking care of Mrinmoy’s studies, and making her competent enough to work in Mumbai and stay at Isha’s house. Isha tells her not to praise her so much.
Milind then calls Isha, informing her that he’s picking up Mrinmoy from the railway station. Isha thanks him, explaining that Shantanu is not at home and Savi is busy, so she didn’t want to trouble him.
Milind assures her it’s fine since Savi and Harini are like his daughters, and he’s like her brother-in-law. He asks her to keep some pineapple sheera for him, to which she replies that Savi is preparing plenty. Harini then tells Isha to be ready for the storm named Mrinmoy.
Bhagyashree braids Sai’s hair while Riddhi tells her about a friend’s message asking if she will punish the neighbor who complained against her last night. Bhagyashree says she will blast her. Rajat joins them for breakfast, and Sai wishes him good morning, asking him to feed her breakfast. Rajat picks up a bite but stops, recalling his ex-wife upon seeing Sai’s lip mole. Savi, who is picking up the milk carton at her flat door, overhears the conversation.
Raju scolds Rajat for refusing to feed Sai, and Bhagyashree agrees, warning Rajat never to repeat it. Rajat angrily snaps at his parents and walks away. Savi enters and tells her parents that the Thakkars are horrible people who fight all day and have no manners. Isha advises her to stop thinking about negative people and focus on boys’ profiles to select one she likes.
Savi says she won’t check any profiles, is going to work, and will return for lunch. Shantanu smirks at Isha. Rajat, ready for work, is about to leave when Sai says she wants to go to school with him. Raju tells Sai that her papa doesn’t have time, so he will drop her off. Bhagyashree tells Rajat he’s doing wrong by the kid. Rajat promises Sai he will pick her up from school, making her happy.
