Ishaan visits Savi, who looks at him from the balcony as the song “Main Tenu Samjhawan Ki” plays in the background. Savi recalls Ishaan lifting her and walking up the temple stairs. Harini takes Savi inside, and Ishaan leaves. When Savi returns, she sees he’s already gone.
The next morning, Savi opens her tea shop and prays to God, expressing that all she has left is the dream she brought from Ramtek to Pune—to fulfill her parents’ dream of becoming an IAS officer.
Harini joins her. Shukla’s wife visits the temple and applies tilak to Shukla, Harini, and then Savi. She notices Savi has a high fever. Harini insists that Savi go home and rest, sending her away.
Ishaan opens his cupboard and notices the cufflinks gifted by Savi. He smiles, recalling fond moments with her at the Bhosale house. He then looks at his engagement ring and tries to remove it. Reeva walks in and asks what he’s doing. Ishaan nervously puts the ring back on and says nothing.
Reeva reminds him they need to go shopping for a mangalsutra. Ishaan asks if they can go another day. Reeva insists, saying there’s only a month left until their wedding and he needs to show some excitement.
While shopping, Ishaan gets a call from Harini, who mentions she saw his missed calls on Savi’s phone last night. Ishaan asks if Savi got home safely from the dhaba. Harini confirms and says Patil dropped Savi home, but she got drenched in the rain and now has a fever.
She asked Savi to rest today. Ishaan gets worried about Savi. Reeva returns and says it’s time to go. Ishaan says he has important work and will meet her later. He leaves.
Savi, reflecting on Reeva accusing her at the dhaba, thinks she shouldn’t have gone there. Ishaan arrives and bumps into her. She asks what he’s doing there. He wraps her in a bedsheet and says he had to come because she isn’t taking care of herself while she’s unwell.
He gently fixes her hair. She gets lost in his eyes. Ishaan asks her to sit while he prepares ginger tea for her. She instructs him to add two teaspoons of sugar and asks how he will make it. He says he’ll watch an internet video to make tea for someone special, correcting himself to say for anyone who falls ill. He then gives her steam to ease her congestion and goes to bring the tea.
Savi approaches Ishaan and asks if he’s trying to ease his guilt. Ishaan replies that he’s just taking care of her. Savi tells him to leave because she feels weak when he’s around. Patil enters with fruits and questions Ishaan’s presence. He then asks Savi about her health.
Savi mentions she was fine earlier but now has a headache. Ishaan jests that Patil is the cause of her headache and questions why Patil is constantly following Savi, even going to Khopoli to pick her up. Ishaan asks why he’s here since he’s neither Savi’s friend nor relative.
Savi insists Ishaan explain his own presence first. Patil is pleased to hear this. Savi warns Ishaan to leave or his fiancée might cause a scene. Ishaan, frustrated, accuses Savi of wanting him gone because Patil was coming. Savi tells him to think what he likes but asks him to leave again. Patil is happy. Ishaan angrily rams his car into Patil’s bike and drives away.
Patil offers Savi fruits, but she asks for tea, mentioning Harini will bring it. Patil serves the tea himself. Savi apologizes for Ishaan’s behavior. Patil assures her Ishaan’s taunts don’t affect him. Savi defends Ishaan, noting he prepared the tea.
Patil takes the tea cup from her, suggesting she have fruits instead. Savi thanks him for picking her up from the dhaba the previous night. Patil, acting emotional, says they’re both orphans and he feels a connection with her; he just wants her to recover soon.
Savi appreciates his help. Patil leaves and notices his fallen bike. A kid informs him an uncle hit it with his car. Patil deduces Ishaan is frustrated after losing his girlfriend to him.
Savi recalls Ishaan making tea for her and wonders why he’s doing this when they have no relation. She sips the tea emotionally as “Tadap Tadap Ke Is Dil Se Aah Nikalti Rahi” plays in the background. Meanwhile, Ishaan drives, recalling Savi’s harsh words. Savi finds Ishaan’s wallet in the kitchen and thinks of returning it.
At the Bhosale house, Surekha calls a jeweler and asks Reeva to select a mangalsutra. Reeva eagerly watches the door. Shikha joins them, and Surekha says she’ll buy jewelry for both her daughters-in-law. Durva notices Reeva looking at the door and teases her about waiting for Ishaan. Reeva denies it.
Ishaan returns home. Surekha scolds him for not taking Reeva to the mangalsutra shop, asking what was so important. Ishaan lies about a problem in the college’s cultural wing. Chinmay overhears and wonders why he wasn’t informed about any issues in his department.
Reeva invites Ishaan to help her choose a mangalsutra. As she tries them on, Ishaan imagines Savi in her place and smiles.
