The episode begins with Imlie accidentally bumping into Anjali, apologizing immediately. Anjali drops a bottle of poison in her haste to leave, which Imlie notices with shock. She decides to follow Anjali, but Bulbul intervenes, stopping Imlie in her tracks. Imlie explains to Bulbul about Anjali carrying the poison bottle. Spotting Anjali trying to hide, Imlie pursues her once more. Grabbing a toy from a nearby child, Imlie throws it, hitting Anjali and causing her to fall.
Imlie then confronts Anjali, demanding to know her intentions. Anjali, in a fit of anger, tells Imlie to leave her alone. Imlie, determined to get answers, twists Anjali’s arm, forcing her to reveal that she intended to use the poison on herself but now fears for Surya’s safety, as he might unknowingly consume a drink laced with poison. Realizing the urgency, Imlie rushes home, while Bulbul takes charge of Anjali, dragging her along.
Pallo extends a glass of juice to Surya, mentioning she left it on the table. As Surya is about to drink it, Imlie rushes in and throws the juice away. Pallo scolds Imlie for her actions. To everyone’s shock, Imlie reveals that the drink was poisoned. Pallo is taken aback, questioning who could have done such a thing in her home.
Bulbul steps forward, dragging Anjali along, and confesses that she was the one who poisoned Surya’s drink. Anjali interrupts, declaring her love for Surya and claiming that the poison was meant for Imlie, not him. Surya, stunned, questions Anjali’s sanity, asking how she could try to harm his wife.
Anjali defends herself, stating that her love for Surya knows no bounds, and she would do anything to protect him from Imlie. Imlie intervenes, explaining that true love is about selflessness and sacrifice, not harm or deceit, as Anjali’s actions suggest.
Anjali accuses Imlie of ensnaring Surya, likening it to how she trapped Agastya into loving her. Imlie, stunned, listens as Surya threatens to arrest Anjali for attempting to harm her. However, Imlie intervenes, refusing to press charges and urging Surya to let Anjali go. Surya, frustrated, orders Anjali to leave and never return.
Later, Surya confides in Imlie, describing Anjali’s behavior as irrational and nonsensical. Meanwhile, Prashant’s mother calls Pallo to perform Bulbul’s farewell ritual. They all participate in the ceremony.
Meanwhile, Anjali seeks Amrit’s help in plotting against Imlie. After the ceremony, Surya searches for Imlie, only to find she has packed her belongings and booked a bus ticket to Banaras. She leaves a letter for Surya, visits Indira to offer her divorce papers. Indira, suspicious of her motives, questions the ease with which Imlie is willing to part ways.
