The episode begins with Jhanak talking to Rahul and his friends. Rahul encourages her, saying that if she does the work, she’ll get bigger opportunities. He contemplates a big surprise and recalls Anirudh’s offer to accompany her, her confession of love, and her failure to understand his love.
Jhanak interrupts his thoughts, needing to talk. Rahul agrees, but Jhanak suggests they talk after the exam. He offers help during the exam, but she mentions the strict main teacher. They head to the exam hall.
Meanwhile, Anirudh waits outside the college with food for Jhanak, pondering why he cares so much for her despite not being together. After the exam, Jhanak emerges, saying her performance was average. Rahul insinuates Anirudh’s interference, but Jhanak defends him.
She declines Rahul’s canteen invitation, anticipating Anirudh’s arrival. Anirudh calls out to her, and she runs to him, surprised he’s still there. He explains he brought food for her and her friends, urging her not to overthink his presence. Jhanak appreciates his gesture and asks about his wellbeing, noticing his tiredness. Anirudh reassures her, prioritizing her future over his health.
Feeling guilty for Anirudh’s trouble, Jhanak expresses concern about his health, but he dismisses it. Rahul interjects, claiming they’ll take care of her, but Anirudh insists he’s fine and encourages them to eat and prepare for the next exam. Rahul considers confessing to Jhanak, hoping she reciprocates his feelings. Jhanak calls Rahul, but he reveals that Anirudh mentioned her love for him and a plan to get them married after exams, leaving Jhanak stunned.
Shocked, Jhanak questions Rahul, who apologizes for Anirudh’s misunderstanding. She clarifies that she only loves Rahul as a friend and rejects the idea of marriage, valuing their friendship and independence. Relieved but resolute, she thanks Rahul for his honesty, refusing to marry out of obligation. Rahul, still in disbelief, invites her to the exam, but Jhanak states she faces a more significant challenge. The episode ends with her determined to confront her emotions and relationships head-on.

Later, Anirudh realizes Jhanak is missing. Frantically, he calls out for her. Meanwhile, Anirudh’s family arrives home. Shubh observes, “Anirudh has changed a lot in a year. I won’t let him get the ‘married’ tag.” Dadi inquires about Anirudh’s whereabouts, prompting Bipasha to complain, “No one even asked about us.” Lal advises everyone to calm down, but Shubh remarks, “Problems aren’t leaving us.”
Anirudh’s search for Jhanak intensifies. He calls Rahul, suspecting Jhanak might be with him, only to discover Rahul is at home. Rahul confronts Anirudh, feeling insulted and betrayed, as Anirudh tries to locate Jhanak. Anirudh suspects Jhanak might be upset over the issue of marriage, but he believes he acted in her best interest.
Meanwhile, Jhanak, hiding from the police, arrives at a hotel room, seething with anger. Anirudh, on his way to find her, receives confirmation of her presence at the hotel. Anjana anxiously asks about Anirudh and Arshi, but Tanuja informs her that Pandit ji revealed Anirudh is already married, preventing his marriage to Arshi.
Anirudh finally meets Jhanak at the hotel, but their encounter is far from amicable. Jhanak expresses her deep hurt and frustration, accusing Anirudh of meddling in her life without her consent. Anirudh, feeling remorseful, tries to apologize, but Jhanak is adamant about her decision, demanding that he leave her life for good.
