Jhanak urgently requests the police officer to take her to the medical shop. At first, the officer refuses, but Jhanak persistently pleads until the officer agrees. With the police officer’s help, Jhanak buys some basic medications. Upon returning, she tries to administer the medicine to Anirudh, but he starts babbling in his high fever. He begs Jhanak to return to Kolkata and confesses his deep love for her. Jhanak is confused and doubts Anirudh’s sudden confession.
Trying to shift the focus, Jhanak mentions Anirudh’s relationship with Arshi, but he insists he no longer loves Arshi. She urges him not to overthink and gives him the medicine. Gradually, she provides basic treatment to reduce his fever.
Jhanak feels guilty, believing her actions caused Anirudh’s distress. She apologizes and asks for his forgiveness. Anirudh then asks Jhanak if she loves someone. Hesitant to reveal the truth, Jhanak is repeatedly questioned by Anirudh as he holds her hand.
Jhanak doesn’t give a clear answer. She orders soup for him, but Anirudh feels very low, expressing a lack of will to live. Jhanak is shocked by his negative thoughts. Anirudh insists on staying with Jhanak, at least in the same town, determined to keep her close by any means necessary.
Jhanak repeatedly says she couldn’t fulfill this wish, but Aniruddha confesses he can’t live without her anymore. She is completely taken aback by his sudden declaration. Aniruddha wants a strong promise from Jhanak that she won’t leave him again. Jhanak assumes Aniruddha is talking nonsense due to his fever and will forget everything once he recovers.
To resolve the dispute in the Bose family, Aniruddha’s grandparents decide never to mention Jhanak’s name in the house again. Shubha and Tanuja agree with this decision.
Holding Aniruddha’s hand, Jhanak promises she won’t leave him anymore. He pulls her into his arms. Jhanak becomes emotional at Aniruddha’s touch and rests in his embrace. They both dream of a happy life together. Aniruddha imagines how they will spend their first night together, giving his all. They will cuddle and make love.
