The episode opens with Anirudh and Jhanak attempting to start their car, which fails to start. Jhanak expresses fear about the bad weather, but Anirudh reassures her, saying they will reach home if the car starts. Jhanak suggests that he drop her there, but Anirudh refuses, unwilling to leave her alone in such weather. Fortunately, the car starts, and they set off.
Meanwhile, Shubh comments that Jhanak wouldn’t make such a big mistake, indicating that she is about to leave. Arshi responds cynically, stating that Jhanak is stubborn and unlikely to change. Choton disagrees, suggesting that perhaps Jhanak is facing some trouble. Arshi continues speaking against Jhanak.
Back on the road, Anirudh and Jhanak encounter a problem as the car suddenly stops. Anirudh diagnoses the issue as water having entered the engine, causing the breakdown. Jhanak insists he try to start it again, but he jokes and explains the danger of being out in the rain. He suggests they seek shelter to avoid potential hazards from the storm and call a mechanic.
Jhanak expresses fear, but Anirudh assures her and leads her to a nearby shelter. He comforts her, emphasizing that they must wait until the storm passes. Jhanak, feeling isolated, expresses concern about returning home on time. Anirudh, however, assures her that Arshi and others will understand the situation and wait for them.
Bablu admonishes Anjana, saying she should have informed everyone about Jhanak, now they will face taunts. Shubh joins in with taunts. Anjana defends herself, arguing with Tanuja and Bipasha. She explains that Jhanak helps her and takes care of her son, Appu. Jhanak expresses her tension. Anirudh reassures her, suggesting they find a way to dry their clothes by burning wood. Despite Anjana’s fear of being insulted, Anirudh encourages her to enjoy the moment, reminding her that such moments are fleeting.
As Anjana sneezes, Anirudh warns her of catching a cold and getting sick. He lights some wood. Anjana scolds Lal, urging him to use his mind and not be foolish. Bipasha misconstrues Anjana’s words, implying that Anjana called Lal a fool. Bablu defends Anjana’s right to scold Lal, stating that Lal has done wrong and must accept the scolding from his mother. Tanuja intervenes, emphasizing the need to take action to ensure Jhanak’s safety, as they would be responsible if anything were to happen to her.
Arshi tries to reassure everyone, suggesting that Jhanak is a drama queen who will return. Lal proposes waiting until 11 p.m. before deciding their next steps. Bipasha questions what they will do if Jhanak and Anirudh do not return. Lal remains optimistic, feeling they will return and suggests waiting a bit longer.
Choton expresses concern that Anirudh’s phone is off, and Arshi wonders what he could be doing. She calls Anirudh’s office and learns that everyone has left, including Anirudh, around 5 p.m. She shares this information, surprising Shubh.
Anirudh kindles the fire, assuring, “We’re safe. Come, sit by the fire.” Jhanak worries about drying her clothes. Anirudh reassures her, taking her dupatta, “I’ve got you covered; you can dry your clothes.” She sneezes, and he reminds her, “Dry your clothes, or you might end up in the hospital.” As they share a moment, the song “Dil Bandh Raha Hai” plays in the background.
Later, Jhanak dries her hair while Anirudh turns away, respecting her privacy. She notices his wet clothes and suggests he dry them first. Anirudh insists she go ahead, but Jhanak, scared of the sparks, clings to him. They share a tender moment, locking eyes.
Anirudh breaks the silence, revealing, “No one believes in our marriage, but it’s true, we got married in the temple.” Jhanak, puzzled, asks why he’s bringing it up now. He explains, “I just felt it, with this storm and rain.
I wanted to say it.” Unwilling to dwell on it, Jhanak replies, “I don’t want to think about it.” Anirudh admits, “I do think about it; the memory is etched in my heart.” They share a heartfelt gaze, reminiscing about their past.
