The episode starts with Choton questioning Anirudh, “Why are you complicating all this? You need to find a way out. It’s not necessary to explain everything to everyone.” Shubh scolds Choton. Arshi then asks Anirudh, “Did you both have food?” Anirudh replies, “Yes, we left early from the restaurant because of the stormy weather.
” Arshi accuses, “You made an excuse about buying books and gifts.” Jhanak defends herself, “I needed to buy those for my exams, but that wasn’t the only reason I went out. I didn’t do anything wrong that I should be ashamed of.”
Anirudh stands firm, “You all have always tried to prove Jhanak wrong. I can’t be like you. Jhanak is leaving, and I wanted to give her a treat for my birthday, to make up for your actions. What wrong did I do? It’s my birthday, and I wanted to give her a special treat. She will never come back here.” Jhanak agrees, “Yes, I will never return if I leave.
” Anirudh adds, “But if things don’t go well, she can come back to Kolkata or go to Mumbai.” He then asks, “I’m tired. Can I get some food?” Anjana responds, “It’s your birthday, and everything is your choice.” She goes to get food for him.
He mentions, “Jhanak is leaving in 4 days. I’ve booked the tickets. I’ll freshen up if you’ve made the birthday party arrangements.” Arshi interrupts, “Wait, there’s a lipstick mark on your neck.” Anirudh looks at Jhanak as everyone is shocked. He asks, “How are you sure it’s a lipstick mark?” Arshi confidently replies, “Because I also apply it and know it well.” Anirudh falls silent.
Later, Arshi approaches Jhanak, “I want to know everything. Where did you go with Anirudh?” Jhanak insists, “Anirudh and I have already told you the truth.” Meanwhile, Shubh, Tanuja, Lal, and Bipasha confront Anirudh. Shubh and Tanuja scold him.
Anirudh explains, “I’ve already explained everything. Jhanak isn’t a maid.” Shubh demands, “When will this drama end?” Anirudh reassures, “She will leave in 4 days.” Shubh offers, “I know she needs money. I’ll put 5 lakhs in her account so she doesn’t trouble us.” Arshi challenges Jhanak, “How much money will you take to get out of Anirudh’s and my life? I won’t cancel this marriage.
I can’t leave Anirudh for someone like you. It’s my duty to support him. You trapped him. Tell me, how much do you want? Lakhs? Crores?” Jhanak responds indignantly, “You think I want money from you?” Arshi asserts, “Yes, what else could it be?” Jhanak declares, “I don’t want any money.” Arshi accuses, “Oh, so you won’t take money because you want Anirudh.”Anirudh protests, “No, don’t cross the limits.”
Shubh retorts, “You’ve already crossed the limits. Don’t lecture me. Do you really think Arshi will marry you?”Anirudh replies, “If she wants to back out, I can’t stop her.”
Tanuja interjects, “Would you accept it if Arshi did that to you?”Anirudh, exasperated, says, “I’ve explained everything. Why are you doubting me?”Lal declares, “You’ve lost your mind.”
Anirudh sighs, “Fine.”Bipasha clarifies, “Arshi didn’t want to stay. She went to talk to Jhanak, so we came to talk to you.”Jhanak adds, “I’m leaving in a few days.”
Arshi pleads, “Promise me you’ll stay in either Kashmir or Mumbai. Don’t come back to Kolkata.”The argument escalates, and Anirudh defends Jhanak. Shubh offers, “I’ll give her 10 lakhs.”Anirudh snaps, “You can’t insult her. I’ll always protect her.”
Arshi demands, “Why is he so important to you?”Jhanak explains, “He saved my life. Who does that nowadays?”Arshi angrily rebukes her, and Jhanak responds, “If I wanted to, I could have done a lot more.”
Anirudh argues with the family, stating, “Jhanak would be happy if she could live alone. Why should she suffer insults in someone’s house?”Arshi, confused and hurt, asks, “What are you saying? Are you threatening me?”Jhanak reveals, “If I wanted, I could have claimed my biggest right.”Arshi, taken aback, asks, “What right? Tell me clearly.”
Jhanak drops the bombshell, “Anirudh and I got married. That marriage was true. If I were a bad person, I could have claimed my right and broken your relationship. But I didn’t. A married woman can do anything she wants.”Arshi stands in shock, absorbing the revelation.
