The episode starts with Arshi sitting for her mehendi. Rumi and Bipasha ask Jhanak to apply mehendi to Arshi. Arshi agrees, expressing her excitement to see Jhanak’s beautiful design. She asks Anirudh for his opinion. Jhanak assures she’ll do her best, and Anirudh adds that Jhanak will apply mehendi to Arshi’s feet. Lal comments that Anirudh’s request is an insult to Jhanak, treating her like a maid. Jhanak begins applying mehendi to Arshi’s feet. Arshi, pleased with the design, asks Jhanak to also apply mehendi on her hands.
Jhanak suggests Arshi should look good for Anirudh, but Arshi insists Jhanak should apply it first and then they will ask him. Arshi then asks Jhanak to dance, but Jhanak declines, pointing out that Arshi’s friends are professional dancers and she will focus on the mehendi instead.
Anirudh, with a hidden agenda, thinks about his plan to insult Jhanak and show his love for Arshi. He goes to Arshi, hugs her, and everyone teases them. Anirudh asserts his right over Arshi. Shrishti arrives, complimenting Jhanak’s mehendi skills and suggesting she should work in a parlor instead of becoming a dancer. She asks Jhanak to apply mehendi to her as well. Shrishti mentions that a beautician will come to prepare Arshi, and Jhanak agrees to assist, promising to make Arshi look stunning.
Meanwhile, Choton brings books to Mrinalini, who is in a meeting. She dismisses him, saying he should wait. Choton insists he came for her work but is rebuffed. He explains he has to go to Anirudh’s wedding and needs to give him a gift, leading to an argument.
Arshi asks Anirudh what he was discussing, and he jokes about fixing their honeymoon date, sparking laughter. Arshi mentions an important program, but Anirudh declares all her appointments are now his for the next month, causing Jhanak to turn away.
Choton criticizes Mrinalini for her rudeness, contrasting her with her polite father. He mentions that his parents invited her to all the wedding functions. She sarcastically responds that she’s free like him. Choton threatens to tell his parents about her attitude.
He reveals that his adoptive mother picked him from the road, and now they make him do work. He internally notes he overheard plans to marry him to Mrinalini and decides to manipulate her. Shrishti reminds Arshi of her program, but Anirudh insists the honeymoon is more important. Jhanak finishes the mehendi, and Anirudh takes Arshi to dance.
Choton complains to Mrinalini that his family wants to get rid of him, but she defends them. He questions why he would lie and shares his hardships, seeking her empathy. She brushes off his sad story, but he persists, asking for his money back.
Anirudh and Arshi dance to “Mehendi Lagake Rakhna.” Shrishti notices how happy Anirudh seems with Arshi. Jhanak feels a pang of sadness, thinking, “You’re happy because of what I told you.” She reflects on her feelings for him.
Meanwhile, Mrinalini gives money to Choton. He thanks her and asks if she’s coming tomorrow. She hesitates, saying she’ll think about it. As he prepares to leave, he asks why she never married, given her good family, education, and beauty, suggesting it might be due to her short temper. Offended, she retorts that he has no manners. Choton admits he’s uneducated but claims he’s only trying to warn her. She questions why, but he just says they’ll meet tomorrow and leaves.
Shubh tells Arshi he called her for an important reason. Arshi inquires about it, and Shubh reveals it’s a solution to their problems. Lal asks Shubh to explain. Shubh says he needs this document signed before the function. Arshi insists Ani should be consulted.
Tanuja asks if it will cause any issues. Arshi assures them it won’t but emphasizes Ani should be present. Shubh agrees and sends Lal to fetch Anirudh, stating he doesn’t want Jhanak causing any drama or making demands. Arshi comments that Jhanak might ask for everything, wanting to appear magnanimous.
Bipasha adds that Jhanak wanted Anirudh. Lal interrupts to say they need to discuss something. Anirudh, ready to cover the wedding expenses despite his father’s objection, agrees to come. Jhanak, meanwhile, thinks about her duties and why she feels so hurt seeing Anirudh with Arshi.
