The episode begins with Jhanak expressing her desire to stay in her city with her friends, thanking everyone for the love she has received. Bablu acknowledges the many challenges she has faced. Jhanak, feeling liberated, announces her plans to prepare special Kashmiri dishes as a treat and hands over money for the ingredients.
Choton reassures her of his support, along with Anirudh’s. Jhanak expresses her gratitude, crediting Anirudh for her survival and averting a disastrous situation caused by Tejas. Anjana predicts a successful future for Jhanak, who insists on leading a simple life with modest dreams, then sends Bablu and Choton to gather supplies.
Jhanak plans to cook using earthen pots and has already prepared the spices. Anjana, reflecting on their bond, says she will miss Jhanak and pledges to support her beyond her relationship with Appu. Jhanak promises to attend Appu’s wedding and keep in touch, then continues her preparations.
When Bablu returns with the items, Jhanak checks them and steps out to buy coriander and chili. A vendor informs her they’re out of stock, but she finds a girl named Vaijanti, who proudly identifies as a farmer and sells her the necessary ingredients. Grateful, Jhanak returns to complete her arrangements.
Meanwhile, Dadi and the family conduct a puja, with Dadi instructing Mimi to call Anirudh to receive the prasad first. Arshi arrives with her parents, welcomed by Shubh and Tanuja, who note Anirudh’s busy schedule even on his birthday. Shrishti brings a cake and places it in the fridge.
Bipasha takes Arshi to see Anirudh. Lal reminds Anirudh to join the celebration, as everyone is waiting for him. Bipasha asks Arshi to help Anirudh get ready. Arshi hugs him, sings a birthday song, and expresses her love.
In the kitchen, Appu inquires about the dish Jhanak is preparing. Jhanak offers her a taste. Anirudh, now ready, joins the gathering. Dadi performs his aarti, and everyone wishes him a happy birthday.
Appu enjoys the food and mentions that Anirudh has arrived. She suggests they go to greet him, but Jhanak prefers to stay put. Lal invites Jhanak to sit, while Anirudh says he will take blessings first. Lal reminds him he also needs to eat. Arshi announces a secret game where everyone’s photos will be taken, urging caution. Dadu compliments Anirudh and hands him an envelope.
Everyone blesses Anirudh and wishes him a happy birthday. Dadi playfully teases him about hugging his bride, and Anirudh thanks her, making everyone smile. Anirudh spots Jhanak. Shrishti asks Jhanak if the food is ready, but Anjana replies affirmatively. Shrishti clarifies that she asked Jhanak, and Anjana asserts that she made the food. Dadi presents a gift to Anirudh, but Anjana insists on giving it instead.
Bablu suggests they all go together to present the gift. Tanuja remarks that Anirudh usually wears branded t-shirts, but Bablu defends their choice, noting Anirudh wears casual clothes at home. Anirudh loves the t-shirt and thanks them, asking Anjana not to cry as he takes their blessings. Vinayak agrees, but Shrishti stops him. Anirudh asserts that confidence defines identity, not brands. Bipasha compliments Rumi on the decorations and suggests they eat. Shubh blesses Arshi and Anirudh.
