No one will believe you if you try to alert someone.” Jhanak responds, “I won’t say anything.” Tejas urges her to come without causing a scene, to simply act happy. He takes her hand and leads her away. Meanwhile, Anirudh suspects foul play, “I know Tejas has coerced Jhanak into this marriage. I’ll rescue her, I promise.”

The next morning, Anirudh travels to Kashmir. He contacts the inspector regarding Jhanak’s whereabouts. The inspector directs him to a local newspaper.

Anirudh, now in Srinagar, queries if Jhanak has been found. The inspector confirms and suggests Anirudh return, questioning his involvement, “Why are you so concerned about her? She’s an adult who can make her own choices. You needn’t worry.” Anirudh insists, “It’s not up to you.” The inspector defends, “I can’t decide for you both.” Anirudh argues, “She needs help.

Why are you saying this? Where is she?” The inspector reveals, “She’s at Tejas’ house.” Anirudh, alarmed, accuses the inspector of neglect, “You were supposed to prevent this! She’s been kidnapped, and instead of rescuing her, you’re arguing with me.

” The inspector claims helplessness, “There’s nothing I can do.” Anirudh questions, “Are you afraid of Tejas?” The inspector denies fear, asserting, “No one needs help here. Go back to your hotel and read the newspaper. You’ve provided me with incorrect information.

Whom should I save?” Anirudh demands clarification, “What do you mean?” The inspector maintains, “Everything is under control. I have other tasks to attend to.” Anirudh pleads, “Just tell me.” The inspector warns, “You can’t force me to take action.

You lodged the complaint, not Jhanak. She has no issues.” Anirudh implores, “Don’t leave her in danger. Save her!” The inspector relents, “Fine, come with me. You’ll see for yourself. Visit Tejas’ house this evening.”
