The episode opens with Vaiju surrounded by goons. Just then, Ranvijay arrives to rescue her, noticing the goons lying defeated. Concerned, he asks what happened, and Vaiju recalls her fierce struggle against them. Ranvijay realizes she fought bravely. Vaiju mentions he must have been with Jaya when this happened.
The police arrive, and Ranvijay informs them that the goons kidnapped Vaiju and threatened his life. One of the goons tries to lie to the inspector, but Vaiju quickly counters, stating he’s lying. The inspector questions her relationship with Ranvijay, who explains that she is his fiancée’s sister. The inspector then arrests the goons.
Sulekha notes that Ranvijay said Vaiju should stay away from the rituals. Jaya expresses her hope that everyone returns home safely, while Sulekha adds that today’s engagement timing was perfect. The pandit agrees, saying that bonds formed during this auspicious time are enduring. As Ranvijay and Vaiju are handcuffed and taken to the police van, he notices her bleeding hand and offers her a kerchief.
Rao Sahab arrives, seeing Ranvijay’s car, and Vasundara inquires why the police have detained them. Jaya insists on accompanying them. One of the men claims to the inspector that Ranvijay and Vaiju are married, which Ranvijay denies. Jaya arrives, asking who is married.
Vaiju clarifies that the man tried to kidnap her, mistaking it for a marriage. The man insists he’s referring to Jhumri Patan. The inspector reprimands him, and with Vasundara’s intervention, Ranvijay and Vaiju are released.
As they head home, Jaya hugs Vaiju, apologizing for the engagement delay due to her abduction. Vaiju explains the goons kidnapped her for money, believing it was her wedding. Back at home, Ranvijay wonders where the guests went. Sulekha explains that without the engagement, there’s no reason for them to stay. Rao Sahab asks about the next auspicious date, but the pandit reveals there won’t be another good mahurat for months.
Ranvijay asserts that he and Jaya are ready to marry, but Rao Sahab warns against the bad omen of marrying outside a good mahurat. Vaiju cleverly suggests that since everyone is present, they should still proceed with the engagement, emphasizing the love between Ranvijay and Jaya and the need for blessings. The group smiles in agreement.
Vaiju expresses her faith in Ragini, saying she won’t let Jaya feel her absence. Jaya thanks Vaiju and hugs her tightly. Ragini encourages them to take a selfie while the pandit prepares. They all gather for a cheerful picture, with Ranvijay and Jaya posing happily.
However, as Vaiju steps away, tears fill her eyes. The song “Jo Bheji Thi Dua…” plays softly as she confronts her inner self, chastising her for deceiving everyone. She shouts in frustration and continues to cry. Meanwhile, Ranvijay and Jaya sit down for their engagement. In a moment of clumsiness, Ranvijay drops the ring, which rolls toward Vaiju. She picks it up, caught in a swirl of emotions.
