The episode begins with Ranvijay approaching Jaya. She apologizes and embraces him. He responds, “We shouldn’t dwell on the past; I want to bring you happiness.” He then proposes marriage. Vaiju watches silently. Jaya nods, and Ranvijay hugs her. They express their love for each other.
Vaiju, overwhelmed, leaves in tears. Ranvijay then introduces Jaya to his family. They receive blessings and well-wishes. Vaiju, masking her sorrow, says, “I’m very happy for you.
Congratulations, Jaya and Ranvijay. May you both stay very happy together.” Vasundara suggests calling a priest to find the earliest auspicious date for the wedding. Vaiju thanks her and asks Vasundara to take care of Jaya. As Vaiju prepares to leave, Jaya pleads, “Don’t leave me, please.” Vaiju reassures her, “I’m just a call away,” and then exits in tears. Ranvijay comforts the crying Jaya.
Ranvijay stops Vaiju as she leaves. Vasundara intervenes, requesting Vaiju to stay until the wedding. Vaiju, moved by the plea, runs back and hugs Jaya. The next morning, Vasundara makes a Rangoli and asks Vaiju and Ranvijay to help fill in the colors.
They hesitate, but she explains it’s a tradition that symbolizes the union of two families, urging them to reconcile for Jaya’s sake. They reluctantly agree. Ranvijay, feeling guilty, says, “I’m scared of lying to Jaya. What will happen when she learns the truth?” Vaiju reassures him, “I promised you I wouldn’t tell anyone.
That marriage doesn’t matter to me; we have no relation. Forget it.” As they fill in the colors, Ranvijay accidentally spills red color on Vaiju’s face and hair, shocking both of them. He quickly leaves, and Vaiju cleans herself up. Meanwhile, the family busies themselves with wedding preparations, choosing a wedding card. Vasundara suggests including a poem for Ranvijay and Jaya, with the best poem being printed on the card, an idea everyone likes.
Vaiju calls Aaji, who asks if everything is fine between her and Ranvijay. Fighting back tears, Vaiju lies, saying everything is fine. She then sees Ranvijay with Jaya. Later, she notices everyone writing poems and asks if there’s an exam. Vasundara explains they are writing poems about relationships, true love, and togetherness and asks Vaiju to write one too.
Vasundara adds, “Write whatever you feel about true love.” Vaiju writes a poem, and Ranvijay brings Jaya to read the submissions. He announces that his mother’s poem is the best. Rao Sahab jokes, “That’s cheating. You’ll always prefer your mom’s poem.” Ranvijay then reads one final poem about love and asks who wrote it. Jaya reveals, “Vaiju wrote it.” Vasundara declares, “It’s decided. Vaiju’s poem will be printed on the wedding card.”
