Manveer confides in Jasleen, emphasizing the importance of keeping Angad unaware of Sahiba’s arrest. He implores Jasleen to maintain the illusion that Sahiba is neglectful, shielding her from Angad’s judgment. However, their conversation is overheard by Keerat, who resolves to inform Angad despite Manveer’s warning.
Keerat chastises Manveer for his actions, asserting that a mother’s anguish is unparalleled when her child is in distress. She insists on informing Angad, accusing Manveer of crossing a moral boundary by involving the authorities.
In response, Jasleen reveals her own heartache over Garry’s plight, pointing out Sahiba’s prolonged absence in their lives. Keerat, however, reminds Jasleen of Sahiba’s genuine affection for her family, citing Sahiba’s interactions with Bani as evidence. Keerat pledges to defend Sahiba’s honor and inform Angad.
Jasleen counters by invoking Garry’s suffering at the hands of Diljeet, Sahiba’s husband, suggesting Sahiba’s indirect responsibility for the violence. She emotionally pressures Keerat to prioritize Garry’s well-being over Sahiba’s interests. Ultimately, Keerat succumbs to Jasleen’s emotional manipulation and agrees to remain silent, prioritizing Garry’s welfare over Sahiba’s.
Manveer called Harleen to tell her about Sahiba’s arrest and how she managed to get custody of Akeer. Harleen, pleased with the news, expressed her desire to leave for Ludhiana soon so that Angad and Amu could marry and never have to return to the unlucky Panesar house. Harleen also mentioned that after the marriage, Amu must accept Akeer as her own son.
However, this news triggered a panic attack in Amu, who expressed her fear of losing Angad if she accepted Akeer as her son. Her parents tried to reassure her, and as Amarinder went to get her medicine, Diljeet managed to escape from the police station with the help of an unknown savior, leaving him wondering who had helped him.
Angad tenderly cares for the unconscious Akeer, reassuring him that they will never be separated. Meanwhile, Manveer expresses her concern for Garry’s well-being. Angad assures her that Garry will recover after surgery, and they plan to return to Ludhiana together with Garry and Akeer. Manveer reflects on her decision to have Sahiba arrested, feeling it was the right thing to do.
Curious about Sahiba’s whereabouts, Angad asks why she isn’t with Akeer. Manveer criticizes Sahiba, calling her a careless mother who likely went to meet her husband. Sahiba, on the other hand, pleads with the police to let her see her son, insisting that she’s done nothing wrong.
As the other inmates inquire about her situation, Sahiba insists on her innocence and her desire to see her son. She envisions Manveer and Angad, with Angad cruelly stating that she’ll never see Akeer again and will languish in jail indefinitely. Threatened by the inmates, Sahiba is warned to cease her pleas or risk being sent to a mental asylum for years. Despite the constable’s offer of food, Sahiba refuses to eat, consumed by her distress.
The car driver drops Diljeet off on a deserted road and departs. Harleen approaches him, prompting Diljeet to recollect their encounter at the gurudwara where he offered her water. Harleen tearfully discloses that she is his mother, forced to leave him at the gurudwara when he was a child due to societal pressures as an unmarried woman. Diljeet erupts, demanding to know why she abandoned him.
Meanwhile, Sahiba clangs a plate to draw attention and confronts the inspector, asserting that she lacks concrete evidence against her, only relying on the statements of wealthy individuals from whom she allegedly accepted bribes. Sahiba demands to see her son and requests to speak with her lawyer.
