Angad urgently calls his lawyer, pressing for Sahiba’s bail tomorrow, citing her attacked state in lockup. Amarinder’s aide overhears and informs Amarinder that Sahiba was attacked, nearly fatally, saved only by her mysterious husband. Amarinder, alarmed, warns the aide to keep this from Angad at all costs. Angad, overhearing, confronts Amarinder, who nervously claims he was discussing Amu’s concerns about Angad’s intentions towards Sahiba, a topic raised by Harneet.
Angad expresses disbelief that Amu, despite knowing everything, remains confused. Amarinder reveals Sahiba is in jail for Diljeet’s murder. Angad questions if Amarinder witnessed the murder, to which Amarinder denies, stating he only heard about it. Convinced of Sahiba’s innocence, Angad inquires if Amarinder has any valuable information, receiving a negative response.
Later, Angad updates Garry about Sahiba’s danger in jail, the unidentified attacker, and Diljeet’s unexplained wealth. Angad speculates that Diljeet’s mother might have orchestrated the attack due to his sudden riches. Angad investigates Diljeet’s bungalow, finding incriminating property documents signed by Harneet. Recalling Sahiba’s mention of Diljeet calling his mother before his death and Harneet’s suspicious actions, Angad suspects Harneet may be the mastermind behind the scenes.
Amarinder enters cautiously, only to be surprised by Angad turning on the lights. Angad confronts him, accusing Amarinder and Harneet of plotting against him and Sahiba, supporting Diljeet instead. Amarinder denies the allegations, but Angad presents Harneet’s signatures on property papers, leaving Amarinder speechless.
He explains that Harneet supported Diljeet so that Diljeet could marry Sahiba while Angad would marry Amu. Angad retorts, questioning Harneet’s motive in helping Diljeet. Amarinder, angered by the accusation against his wife, warns Angad not to tarnish her reputation.
Angad, however, insists that Harneet is Diljeet’s mother, implying a deeper connection. This angers Amarinder, who grabs Angad’s collar, vehemently denying any such motive. Angad’s concern for Sahiba further enrages Amarinder, who questions his intentions.
In a sudden turn, Amu attacks Angad from behind with a hockey stick, revealing her shocking act of shooting Diljeet upon discovering his identity as her mother’s illegitimate son. Angad threatens to have Amu arrested, asserting Sahiba’s innocence.
Amarinder, fiercely protective of Amu, supports her actions, even threatening Angad’s life. Amu questions if Angad is dead to her, to which Amarinder replies that he isn’t yet, symbolically cutting off Angad’s communication by switching off his mobile phone.
Garry informs Manveer about Angad’s unreachable phone, prompting them to contact Angad’s lawyer, who confirms he is also unable to reach Angad. In a final act, Amarinder restrains Angad, tying him to a chair, marking a tense climax in their confrontation.
