The episode opens with Sachin saying, “Akash, you’ve really outdone yourself with these arrangements.” Tejas interjects with a teasing remark. Sachin retorts, “I might just tell Roshni about your past—remember when you had to queue at the temple for food?”
Akash quickly jumps in, “Come on, Sachin, calm down. Just enjoy the soup.” Sayali chimes in, “Are we really having soup before the main course? It feels like soup is for when we’re unwell.” Tejas snickers, “Only the lower class would eat like this.” Akash insists, “Focus on the soup; just give it a try.”
They all taste the soup and nod in approval. Akash beams, “I’m so happy because you both are my sisters-in-law now. Our home feels more beautiful with you here.” Tejas adds, “It’s as lovely as the moon!” Sachin quips, “And you’re just a stain on that moon.”
Roshni smiles, saying, “I’ve always dreamed of being in a big joint family, and thanks to Renu, that dream has come true.” Sayali asks Akash, “Did you make this soup?” Akash replies, “Nope, I’ve prepared a special dish for you all.”
He serves paneer tikka, eagerly asking for their thoughts. Sachin exclaims, “It’s number one!” Akash asks in surprise, “Really?” Roshni responds, “Wow, it’s so tasty!” Akash smiles back, “Thanks! I learned from Renu; she’s an excellent cook.” Sachin teases, “She just knows how to fool everyone!”
Akash urges everyone to calm down and shares, “This is my personal favorite: biryani.” Sayali attempts to use a fork, prompting smiles from Tejas and Roshni. Sachin nudges Sayali, “Come on, eat with your hands!” She nods and complies. Sachin adds, “Good thing we don’t need fancy utensils!” He takes another jab at Tejas and Roshni.
Akash, confused, asks, “What did you say? I didn’t catch that.” Sachin grins, “If you didn’t understand, it wasn’t meant for you.” Akash worries that his plan isn’t working since the conversation isn’t flowing.
He encourages them, “We’re here for family time; let’s talk!” Sachin nudges him to continue. Akash suggests, “How about some random topics?” Roshni jumps in, “Okay, let me ask about our family. Sayali, how did you and Sachin end up together?”
Tejas visibly tenses. Sachin responds, “Well, there wasn’t much love involved. Tejas likes to talk about others but keeps his own life private. Let me fill you in.”
Akash interjects, “You mean Tejas is—” Sachin clarifies, “I’ll explain, Roshni deserves to know. Sayali was actually picked for Tejas first.” Roshni is taken aback. Sachin continues, “Tejas ran away from the wedding after taking 27 lakhs, which left Dad in a tough spot. That’s why I ended up marrying Sayali.”
Roshni recalls Renu’s words, thinking, “Renu thinks I’m wealthy, which is why she wanted me to marry Tejas.” She then quips, “So Sayali got this marriage as a charity case.” Akash and Sachin are stunned, while Tejas smirks.
Sachin accuses Tejas of being insincere, claiming he took money and ran away without caring for Paresh and Sayali, and calls him a beggar. Tejas responds that the marriage wasn’t his choice, so he ran away, believing that if he had married Sayali, he would have been miserable.
He apologizes to Roshni for having to hear all this and explains that his past isn’t important, which is why he didn’t mention it. Roshni reassures him that she understands he had no choice and agrees it was better he ran away; otherwise, she would have pitied him.
Tejas blames his father for the situation, explaining that his father promised him 27 lakhs for his business if he married Sayali, showing a lack of trust in Tejas’s abilities. Roshni sympathizes, calling it wrong. Sachin scolds Tejas, and Akash intervenes, asking them to be quiet and eat.
Tejas criticizes his father for being senseless and not listening to him, which angers Sachin. Tejas also mentions that Renu’s mistake was marrying their father, as she struggles and would have been in a chawl otherwise. Sachin, enraged, grabs Tejas by the neck and hits him. Akash stops them, and Roshni demands Sachin to behave himself.
Sachin argues that Tejas should be thankful for his education funded by Sachin’s father. Roshni insists Sachin can’t insult Tejas, while Sayali questions why Tejas spoke ill of Paresh. Tejas defends himself, but Sayali scolds him. Sachin threatens to break Tejas’s hand, causing Tejas to scream in pain.
Akash intervenes again, and Roshni decides to take Tejas to the hospital, despite Sachin’s protests about Tejas speaking badly of their father. Sayali tries to calm Sachin, who believes Roshni and Tejas are manipulating them. He regrets bringing Sayali there and, feeling hungry, suggests they get food, but Sayali is too upset to eat, worried about the fallout at home.
At night, Tejas shows his bandaged fingers. Renu criticizes Sachin for breaking Tejas’s fingers and scolds Akash. Sachin makes light of the situation, joking about breaking Tejas’s hand. Tejas gets angry, but Sachin taunts him. Roshni demands Sachin respect Tejas, but Sachin mocks her. Renu tells Roshni not to worry, but Roshni feels deeply insulted. Sachin dismisses the past issues, while Roshni continues to defend Tejas.
Sayali interjects, defending Sachin’s actions, saying Tejas’s words provoked Sachin. Renu accuses Sayali of turning against her family out of newfound love for her husband. Sayali argues that Tejas’s behavior justified Sachin’s reaction and criticizes Roshni for speaking ill of Sachin.
She points out that Sachin drinks with his own money and doesn’t harm others, suggesting Roshni should think before speaking. The room falls silent as everyone processes the heated exchange.
