The episode begins with Sachin noticing Sayali sitting silently and asking her why. She tells him to stop the car, which he does, and then she steps out. Sachin follows her as she walks to a bridge and starts crying. He insists on knowing what Renu said to her that’s causing her so much distress. Sayali angrily responds that he never asks about her problems and tells him to go back to his ride, assuring him she will handle her issues alone. She vents her frustration, saying she feels like a puppet who endures everyone’s slaps. Sachin advises her to either confront them or hide her problems as she did with Sudhakar’s truth. Sayali explains that she hid the truth to protect Sachin from going to jail for killing Sudhakar. Sachin feels betrayed by her secrecy. She defends herself, saying she did it out of care for him, fearing what would happen to their family if he went to jail. Sachin receives a call and tells her he must leave for his ride. Sayali walks away, and Sachin watches her, conflicted.
Sayali returns home to find Renu and Roshni preparing to go out. Renu instructs Sayali to cook and finish all the chores before they return. As they leave, Sayali reflects on their harsh words and starts crying again. When Renu and Roshni come back from shopping, Renu is furious to find no food prepared. She goes to wake Sayali, who says she’s unwell, but Renu accuses her of laziness and insists she cook for Roshni. Roshni offers to help, but Renu refuses, belittling Sayali as lazy and clever. Sayali, despite feeling unwell, goes to make the food while Renu and Roshni talk.
After the meal is ready, Sayali retreats to her room. Renu checks on her again and mocks her for pretending to be sick. Roshni and Tejas join Renu at the table, discussing Paresh’s late return and meal. Sachin arrives and confronts Renu about her treatment of Sayali. Renu denies wrongdoing and accuses Sayali of causing trouble. Sachin, concerned, checks on Sayali and finds her weak and unfed. Angry, he berates the family for their neglect.
Sayali watches as Sachin scolds them, feeling both hurt and relieved. Sachin then brings her water and insists on making a medicinal drink, or kada, for her. Despite her protests, he reassures her and calls Aaji for the recipe. Renu dismisses his actions, predicting he will abandon Sayali eventually. Sachin prepares the drink and brings it to Sayali, who drinks it but soon runs to vomit. Sachin realizes he forgot she needed to eat first and rushes to get her food.
Sachin returns with food, urging Sayali to eat. He criticizes the family for their selfishness and assures Sayali he is different. As he feeds her, he expresses his frustration and concern for her well-being, wondering how she would have managed if he hadn’t come home. Sayali, moved by his care, looks at him gratefully.Sachin continues to feed Sayali, gently urging her to eat more. He tells her, “You need to regain your strength. I can’t stand seeing you like this.” Sayali, touched by his concern, tries to eat despite her discomfort.
As Sayali finishes her meal, she looks at Sachin with gratitude. “Thank you for taking care of me,” she says softly. Sachin replies, “You’re my wife. It’s my responsibility to look after you, especially when no one else does.”
In the other room, Renu, Roshni, and Tejas discuss Sachin’s behavior. Renu scoffs, “He’ll get over it soon. It’s just a phase.” Tejas nods in agreement, “He’s too unpredictable. He’ll go back to his old ways soon enough.”
Sachin ignores their comments and focuses on Sayali. He prepares a comfortable spot for her to rest and says, “You need to sleep now. I’ll handle everything else.” Sayali hesitates but finally agrees, lying down to rest.
As she sleeps, Sachin cleans up the kitchen and prepares a simple meal for the next day. He reflects on his behavior and realizes he needs to change to support Sayali better. He decides to confront the family about their treatment of her the next morning.
The following day, Sachin wakes up early and makes breakfast. He wakes Sayali gently, offering her some food. “You need to eat to get better,” he says. Sayali smiles weakly and eats a little.
Afterward, Sachin gathers everyone in the living room. “We need to talk about how Sayali is being treated,” he begins firmly. “This is unacceptable, and it has to stop.”
Renu rolls her eyes, but Sachin continues, “Sayali is part of this family, and she deserves respect and care. From now on, things are going to change.”
Tejas and Roshni look uncomfortable, sensing Sachin’s determination. Renu tries to argue, “She’s just being lazy—”
But Sachin interrupts, “No, she’s not. She’s been overworked and neglected. This ends today. We are a family, and we need to act like one.”
Sayali, standing beside Sachin, feels a glimmer of hope. She realizes that despite their differences, Sachin is willing to stand up for her and support her. She takes his hand and whispers, “Thank you.”
Sachin squeezes her hand in return, looking at the family with resolve. “Let’s move forward with kindness and understanding. It’s the only way we can truly be a family.” The episode ends with Sachin and Sayali united, ready to face whatever challenges come their way together.
