The episode begins with Ruhi asking Armaan to have food. Abhira angrily pulls him away, saying, “Vidya has sent lunch for you, have it now.” Armaan mentions that Ruhi feels bad about not being able to pay the fees. Abhira replies, “So she’s giving food. You know she’s from a good family. She took the car in anger, and before she could handle it, the accident happened. I’m just helping her.
” They talk, and he asks, “What do you like about me? My eyes, my smile, or my talks?” They eat together as “Alag Tujhse Asar Kuch Hai” plays. He feeds her, while Ruhi sits crying. Suwarna advises Ruhi, “Your heart will break again. Stay away from Armaan.”
Vidya prays for Abhira, Ruhi, and Armaan. Dadi arrives, saying, “You’re putting Lord in a dilemma. One of them will win: Abhira or Armaan-Ruhi. Decide whose side you’re on.” Vidya responds, “I’m a mother; all children are the same for a mother.” Dadi insults Abhira, but Manisha defends her, saying, “Abhira saved you from jail. She’s a lawyer; it’s not easy to defeat her.” Dadi leaves, and Manisha asks Vidya to pray for Abhira and Armaan to unite.
In court, the judge asks Abhira to present the proof. Abhira requests five minutes and presents the accident footage, showing Ruhi hitting Rajesh. Armaan argues that his client is innocent due to the dark streets. Abhira counters, “She drove a faulty car, showing carelessness. You can get the car checked.” The judge decides the court will deliver the verdict tomorrow after inspecting the car.
Ruhi fears she will be jailed for six months. Manish suggests hiring another lawyer, doubting Armaan’s ability. Armaan claps sarcastically, “Congrats, you’re going to win your first case.” Abhira says, “You’re just seeing Ruhi, not Rajesh. You’re a good lawyer.” Armaan retorts, “I told you those things, and you used them here. Do you want to ruin Ruhi’s life? You might become a big lawyer, but not like your mom.” He gives her a picture of Akshara and leaves.
At home, Abhira reflects, “I used a shortcut in my first case. How did I get so desperate to win?” Dadi gives her a toffee, saying, “I thought you were going to win your first case.” Abhira asks why the toffee. Dadi replies, “It’s for my victory. You’ve closed all ways to return to Armaan. It hurts when trust breaks; you broke his trust.” She feeds the toffee to Abhira and leaves. Sushant demands Manish give him the house, threatening them because Ruhi could get arrested. Armaan intervenes, handing Sushant a notice and sending him away. He apologizes to Manish for sharing details with Abhira. Manish reluctantly agrees to give Armaan one last chance, warning him not to let Ruhi get jailed.
Armaan reassures Ruhi, who gets a panic attack. He decides not to call Manish to avoid worrying him and takes her to a therapist. Abhira tries calling Armaan, thinking he might be with Ruhi. Ruhi expresses her helplessness and lingering feelings for Armaan, but he coldly tells her to end those hopes and stay out of his personal life. He calls her driver and leaves.
Armaan returns home, where Abhira confronts him. “Where were you? Talk to me.” He responds, “I’m upset with you. You broke my trust. I love you a lot, but in court, it felt like Sanjay was standing in front of me. You fell so low just for a case.”
