The episode begins with Dadi waking up to the sound of music. Curious, she goes outside and sees Armaan and Abhira arriving on a scooter, with everyone dancing around them. Dadi stops them and comments on the pleasant start to the day. Armaan confidently states that things will go well because he and Abhira are still married, asserting her right to stay with him as his wife.
Dadi laughs, thinking it’s a joke. Armaan insists he’s serious, saying he plans to restore Abhira’s mangalsutra and sindoor and bring her home with respect. Dadi remains skeptical, asking Sanjay to come forward.
Abhira holds Armaan’s hand as Sanjay presents a file. Dadi shows annulment papers to Armaan and Abhira, declaring that their marriage is officially annulled and they are no longer husband and wife. Everyone is shocked. Madhav accuses Sanjay of making fake papers again, but Sanjay insists these are real, admitting he previously created fake papers for everyone’s benefit.
Madhav angrily confronts Sanjay, revealing that he had been in an accident and hospitalized without anyone knowing because Sanjay feared exposure. Dadi is taken aback by the revelation. Madhav calls Sanjay selfish, but Sanjay defends himself, saying he cared for Madhav during his hospital stay.
Armaan intervenes, stating that Sanjay did the right thing by annulling their marriage, which was originally formed out of necessity. He declares his intent to rebuild their relationship on love and trust and to remarry Abhira. Everyone smiles at this announcement.
Armaan envisions a marriage filled with love, promises, and unity that no one can break. Dadi, however, is unimpressed and declares that while Armaan should have a grand wedding, she will not be present to witness it, as she cannot accept Abhira as her daughter-in-law. She gives Armaan an ultimatum to choose between Abhira and her.
Despite Abhira’s attempts to explain, Dadi refuses to listen, insisting that Armaan is no longer her Armaan but belongs to Abhira now. Abhira asserts that Armaan’s bond with his grandmother is unbreakable, but Dadi dismisses her, saying family matters are not her concern. Abhira tries to reason with Dadi, highlighting Armaan’s love and the sacrifices he’s made for the family, but Dadi accuses Armaan of using the family for his gain.
Dadi demands proof of Armaan’s loyalty, forcing him to choose between Abhira and herself. Armaan, remembering a previous time when Abhira left, holds her hand, giving Dadi her answer. Dadi sarcastically congratulates Abhira on achieving her dream of ruling the household and leaves. Everyone rushes after her, but Armaan walks out of the house, followed by Abhira.
Vidya, witnessing the chaos, cries out in confusion. Madhav comments on the difficulty of changing one’s ways with age. Abhira tells Armaan they need to stop Dadi, but he is distraught, feeling abandoned. She reassures him of Dadi’s love, despite her actions.
Dadi, meanwhile, packs her bags as Sanjay and others try to stop her. She accuses Sanjay of betrayal and lying to her. Sanjay pleads for another chance, but Dadi insists she has given him enough, revealing she discovered the truth while going through old files. She warns that the Poddar family name would have been tarnished if Armaan and Ruhi had married.
Armaan, feeling the weight of potentially losing his family’s love, clings to Abhira for support. She promises to stay by his side and urges him to help stop Dadi from leaving. He fears she won’t listen to him, convinced she hates him.
