The episode opens with Abhira suggesting a big Holi party for the next day. Dadi dismisses the idea, stating they won’t celebrate Holi this year. Manisha argues that they always celebrate it well. Dadi, however, insists that not everyone is happy, and there’s no need to fake happiness.
Vidya, about to serve rice, is stopped by Dadi, who reminds Manisha and Ruhi of their responsibilities towards her food and medicines. Manisha retorts that they are not that responsible, but Dadi reveals a plan for change.
Ruhi mentions they can’t care for Dadi like Vidya does. Dadi taunts Vidya, who tearfully hands over the house keys and remembers Dadi’s harsh words. Armaan and Abhira comfort Vidya, apologizing for Dadi’s behavior. Manisha praises Vidya for standing up to Dadi and acknowledges the positive changes Abhira has brought.
Armaan interrupts the praise, and Vidya agrees that Dadi would have never allowed Charu to do an internship. Abhira hugs them, and Armaan jokingly remarks about making Dadi silent.
Meanwhile, Sanjay declares no one will play Holi, but Krish wants to attend a friend’s party. Manoj urges everyone to respect Maasa’s wishes and not play Holi. Kajal reminds them of Abhira’s role in Maasa’s troubles, but Dev defends Abhira, leading to a heated discussion.
Ruhi criticizes their behavior, likening it to Abhira’s. Abhira leaves, and Armaan defends her, acknowledging her mistakes but emphasizing her positive traits and intentions. Manish visits Abhira to cheer her up, and they discuss her feelings of not fitting in.
He reassures her and suggests playing Holi with the Poddars, which lifts her spirits. Abhira almost hugs him but stops, possibly due to Ruhi’s influence. Charu receives a message from Dev, and Armaan wakes Abhira, teasing her about dreaming of Ranbir Kapoor. He surprises her by taking her outside, where he has set up a Holika Dahan. They pray together, marking a moment of connection and peace.
