The episode begins with Abhira saying, “I will go and call the person I wanted to meet here.” As she walks away, she hears Kajal’s voice and recalls Sanjay’s words. She thinks to herself, “Love loses to family, but I have neither love nor family.”
Abhira then overhears Dadi talking to Vidya and Madhav. Dadi suggests they go on a holiday for their anniversary. Vidya agrees, saying, “It’s a good idea; we will go on a family vacation.” Abhira feels happy for them.
Meanwhile, guests are congratulating Manish. Surekha remarks, “I saw them at Rohit’s wedding.” Manish asks, “Why did they invite them to our party?” Abhira accidentally bumps into Gayatri Bua. Gayatri blesses her and says, “I heard about your divorce from Armaan; I felt very bad.
Though I’m a distant relative of Armaan, I’m concerned.” Abhira responds, “If you were that worried, you would have called me. What are you doing here at the Goenkas’ party?” Gayatri explains, “Kaveri Mami invited me for a special occasion.” Abhira thinks, “Dadisa is going to do something; I shouldn’t be here.”
Manish brings out the cake for Abhira. The dance performance begins with Charu dancing with the girls to the song “Roohdariyaan.” Aryan and Kiara join in, and Armaan takes Ruhi to dance. Abhira imagines herself dancing with Armaan.
Charu then brings out the rings. Dadi announces, “Surprise! Ruhi and Armaan will get engaged today, and their roka will also happen.” Abhira is shocked. Manish angrily throws the ring plate away, causing Ruhi and everyone else to worry.
Manish declares, “Ruhi and Armaan’s engagement will not happen.” Dadi asks, “What are you doing?” Manish firmly states, “Ruhi’s respect is not so weak that it can be compromised. I don’t care; my answer is still no.”
She insists, “I will get them married.” Suwarna apologizes, “I want them to marry, but you’ve done wrong.” Surekha adds, “Ruhi is our daughter, you didn’t even ask us.” Dadi mentions, “Manish wasn’t ready to hear this.” Manish confirms, “Yes, Ruhi and Armaan can’t be together.
” Armaan questions, “What was the need to do all this?” Dadi asks, “Do you want to marry Ruhi or not?” He responds, “Yes, but with everyone’s happiness. I don’t want to repeat the mistake I made with Abhira.” Madhav pulls him aside. Abhira cries. Manish approaches her, but she asks him not to say anything. Madhav advises Armaan, “Listen to your heart. Maasa is adamant about getting you and Ruhi married, but it’s your life. Think about it.” Manish and Abhira overhear.
Madhav continues, “We are suffering for my mistake of listening to Maasa.” Armaan retorts, “You didn’t care for anyone. You want me to be selfish? No, I won’t hurt them.” Madhav asks, “Will you hurt Abhira?” Armaan responds, “I don’t know. Think of Ruhi; she does a lot for our family.
Abhira left, and you’re worried about her. I have no relation with Abhira.” Madhav says, “I’ve seen you happy with Abhira.” Armaan dismisses, “It was an illusion. My happiness is with my family. I’m marrying Ruhi, and that’s final.” Abhira cries. Manish looks at her.
Dadi asks Charu to find the ring. Charu gets it. Manisha suggests, “We should go back home.” Dadi counters, “Then Ruhi’s engagement won’t happen.” Ruhi says, “It’s fine. Manish has always put me first. I can’t betray him. I respect Dadi and didn’t think she would hurt Manish.
” Armaan and Madhav enter. Sanjay asks, “What shall we do now, Maasa?” Abhira gets a message and stands up. Manish stumbles and gets hurt. Abhira supports him, asking, “Are you hurt? I would have broken this pot.” She helps him. Ruhi asks, “How did you get hurt?” Manish says, “It’s nothing.” Ruhi apologizes, “I’m sorry for the trouble. Don’t worry, I won’t get engaged to Armaan until you agree. I will fight fate, just support me.” He looks at Abhira.
Manish then says, “Ruhi, I’m ready for your engagement with Armaan.” Ruhi thanks and hugs him. Abhira turns away, crying, and leaves. Krish brings the first aid box, and Ruhi tends to Manish’s wound. Abhira meets a man who says, “You came late for the job interview.
” She apologizes, “I’m sorry. I’ve booked a table at the restaurant.” He replies, “We’ll talk here. I have to catch a flight.” Dadi insists, “We should start the engagement ceremony. How long will the guests wait?” Armaan suggests, “Why not today? Let’s celebrate Manish and Suwarna’s engagement today and have our ceremony next week.” Dadi asks, “Why are you delaying now?”
Vidya urges Armaan to get engaged, and Kajal also explains. Manish says, “It doesn’t matter now.” Abhira watches silently. Charu brings the rings.
