The episode begins with Madhav noting the concern between Armaan and Abhira, predicting their impending romance. Ruhi and Dadi observe the interaction. Abhira’s thoughts linger on Armaan, while Vidya reassures her that their relationship is not in jeopardy because of her.
Armaan, however, admits to instigating the discord between them by bringing Abhira into the picture. Vidya, embracing him, disagrees, blaming his father instead. Armaan defends his father, stating that he considers Abhira his daughter. Vidya insists there’s another motive behind his father’s actions, but Armaan, dismissing her concerns, vows not to repeat his father’s mistakes, asserting that his family will be his priority.
Manisha confronts Abhira, urging her to display greed in her eyes if she is truly a gold digger. Abhira, unfazed, asks her to leave. Manisha accuses Abhira of returning to salvage Madhav and Vidya’s marriage. Dadi recalls Kajal’s words, while Ruhi expresses confidence that Armaan will not develop feelings for Abhira. However, Dadi believes otherwise, citing an old-fashioned belief that a man gives his heart to the one he supports.
Ruhi argues that modern men seek compatibility in a partner. Dadi remains firm, insisting that Abhira’s determination will prevent Armaan from drifting away. Meanwhile, Abhira prays for guidance, and Ruhi, intentionally provoking Dadi, suggests that Dadi inform Abhira about her impending separation from the family, signaling the end of Armaan and Abhira’s relationship.
Swarna weeps, feeling Manish’s lingering disapproval. He approaches her, offering a handkerchief and a comforting embrace. She chokes back her tears, expressing her regret. “You should have considered… Ever since I learned of Armaan and Ruhi, I’ve tried to dissuade her,” she says.
Manish nods, understanding her turmoil. Swarna continues, “But Ruhi is adamant, seeing Armaan as her joy.” Manish points out, “Abhira stands by Armaan, leaving Ruhi no place. Life partners are meant to be together, not in confusion and false hopes.” Ruhi, lost in thoughts of Armaan, weeps silently.
Concerned, Swarna shares, “Ruhi isn’t picking up calls. How can we stop her?” Manish resolves, “She must leave that house. Tomorrow, I’ll bring her back against her will. She can’t linger between Abhira and Armaan.” Meanwhile, Armaan approaches Ruhi, who praises his knack for problem-solving.
Armaan acknowledges Abhira’s support, but Ruhi fears her interference. “We should mend things between Mom and Dad, rekindle their old love,” she suggests. Armaan, however, proposes a different plan, “No, let’s lock them in a room.” Alarmed, Ruhi takes a knife from his hand.
Aryan and Kiara rush to Vidya, urgently mentioning Armaan. Vidya hurries to the scene, while Krish runs to fetch Madhav.
Abhira enters and locks the door. Vidya pleads with her to unlock it, while Ruhi expresses concern that their parents won’t reconcile if they’re trapped together. Vidya questions Abhira’s actions, demanding she open the door. Abhira explains she feels responsible for their fights. Vidya, in frustration, tells Abhira she hates her. Abhira, however, points out that Vidya’s love for Armaan is the reason she’s willing to sacrifice her relationship for them.
