The episode begins with Abhira carefully wrapping a bandage around her arm. Armaan enters and tenderly assists her. Meanwhile, Manisha urges Dadi to have something to eat. Vidya expresses the family’s feelings of humiliation since Abhira’s return. Ruhi explains that due to the heat, they aren’t hungry and offers to make Shikanji for everyone.
While Abhira hears music and starts dancing, Ruhi tries to get her attention, but Abhira shushes her. Abhira then greets everyone and announces that she has made Shikanji for them all. After tasting it herself, she assures them that it’s safe and offers it to the family.
However, Dadi, infuriated, grabs Abhira’s hand and throws the glass, reprimanding her and declaring her hatred. She storms off, leaving everyone stunned. Ruhi points out to Abhira that their family isn’t as forgiving as she thought.
Later, Dadi talks to Sanjay on the phone, expressing her impatience. Ruhi explains that the chimney is being serviced. Abhira tries to head to the kitchen to cook but is stopped by Ruhi. They decide to settle the matter with a game of rock, paper, scissors. Ruhi wins, so Abhira is banned from the kitchen. Undeterred, Abhira cooks outside the house on a stove.
As Abhira prepares food, she is joined by children from the NGO. She happily informs them about her return and suggests they have a kachori party. Armaan and the rest of the family observe from a distance. Eventually, Dadi signals to Sanjay, indicating her next move.
Armaan’s lips curve into a smile. Abhira catches sight of his smile and decides to brighten his day with a smiley face-shaped kachori. As Armaan accepts the snack, Dadi’s voice interrupts, beckoning him for a conversation. He notices the divorce papers in her hand.
Meanwhile, Abhira and the rest of the family join in a lively dance with the children. Abhira attempts to uplift Charu’s spirits. However, Dadi expresses her growing intolerance towards Abhira. Armaan, disagreeing with Dadi, asserts that his father won’t approve of this decision. Dadi argues that Abhira’s continuous disrespectful behavior cannot be tolerated any longer.
Armaan suggests waiting until Abhira recovers, but Sanjay points out that she seems fine, even making kachoris for the children. Armaan acknowledges this but requests some time to contemplate the situation. Abhira notices Vidya and approaches her, trying to hold her hand.
However, Vidya pulls away, demanding her to let go. Abhira apologizes and reaches for her hand again, insisting that she must resolve the matter to move forward, reminding Vidya of the past mistake their father made and how she has frozen time at that moment.
Infuriated, Vidya raises her hand to slap Abhira. Armaan intervenes, grasping Vidya’s hand to prevent the action. He apologizes for the interference but emphasizes that Abhira doesn’t deserve to be slapped. Abhira explains that she’s not hurting their mother’s feelings, but rather challenging Armaan’s reluctance to mend their relationship.
Armaan questions her intentions, prompting Abhira to declare herself as their daughter and the daughter-in-law of the house, deserving the right to voice her opinions on family matters.
Armaan, feeling challenged, decides to revoke this right, presenting Abhira with the divorce papers. Devastated, Abhira breaks down in tears.
