The episode begins with Dadi scolding Abhira about Akshu. Abhira retorts, “Do you think I was born misbehaving? I won’t tolerate a word against my mumma. I am my mumma’s daughter. If anyone tries to harm me, I will fight back.” Armaan intervenes, explaining that Dadi didn’t mean any harm. However, Abhira continues, expressing her pride in her mother’s courage, suggesting that while Dadi may have won in creating a big family tree, her mother has won in bravery.
Dadi challenges Abhira, stating that they will see whose upbringing prevails, hers or Abhira’s mother’s. She proposes a bet: if Dadi wins the case, Abhira must leave her studies, but if Abhira wins, Dadi will go to jail. Abhira asserts that her mother’s upbringing cannot be wrong, which angers Dadi further, insisting that Abhira must break her dreams and believe her mother is wrong.
Despite this, Abhira remains resolute, applying tilak to Dadi and promising never to want her to go to jail. She affirms that she will fight the case and win for her mumma. Meanwhile, Manish questions Suwarna about her reaction to Armaan’s name, as Suwarna expresses concern about Armaan’s influence on Ruhi’s life. Suwarna insists that Ruhi’s life decisions should be hers alone to make, not influenced by Armaan.
Armaan, on the other hand, listens to a call recording and is convinced of Dadi’s innocence. He worries about Abhira’s stubbornness, knowing that if Dadi wins, Abhira will lose and have to leave her studies. Ruhi supports Abhira’s decision, understanding the challenge she has accepted and the condition she must face if she loses. Armaan feels responsible for Abhira’s predicament, unsure of how he will keep his promise to her.
Ruhi comments that Abhira lacks maturity. Abhira enters and dismisses Ruhi’s words, stating she’s not there to engage in conversation or pilfer Dadi’s files; instead, she’s searching for the stapler. Ruhi and Abhira engage in a brief argument before Abhira mentions feeling like a burden for a year and leaves. Dadi arrives and expresses her desire to talk. Armaan agrees and Dadi brings up the topic of Ruhi’s marriage, indicating that he needs to meet Manav the following day, with the decision ultimately resting on Ruhi. Armaan assures Dadi he will handle the meeting well.
Later, Armaan contemplates Ruhi’s words as Abhira remains awake. He turns towards her, and she suggests sleeping on the ground for better sleep, citing it as her mother’s remedy. The next morning, Dadi announces a puja for winning the case and finalizing Ruhi’s decision, mentioning that Armaan is on his way to meet Manav. On his way, Armaan expresses reluctance about the meeting. Meanwhile, Manav prepares snacks and refuses to let Armaan indulge, citing his profession as a doctor.
Abhira offers to help, but Manisha declines, blaming her for the current situation. Charu refuses to give Abhira a lift, citing her actions against her family. Abhira is comforted by Madhav, who encourages her to stay focused on her goal and bring out the truth. Suwarna and Manav discuss Armaan’s punctuality, with Suwarna commenting on his lack of respect for others’ time. Armaan receives a message from Ruhi while driving and narrowly avoids an accident thanks to Abhira’s intervention.
